MGMT8516 Social Impact: Entrepreneurs
certificate degree focuses on building the professional capacity

of social managers and entrepreneurs of the future, across

Course Structure
(9.00am – 5.00pm)
The Graduate Certificate is designed to be completed in a
minimum of one year and a maximum of two years. The course

two or three from the Graduate Certificate suite, with the option
to select a final unit from the existing UWABS MBA program.

MGMT8517 Leadership for Social Impact (Essential unit).


Provides students with an introduction to the challenges
and opportunities of leading organisations with the purpose
of improving social outcomes. This unit examines current
challenges in achieving social benefit, leadership in the
social economy, leadership focused on identifying adaptive
challenges, new forms of organising and collective intelligence,
and new governance systems and demands.

MGMT 8506 Ethical Dimensions of Organisational Management


and Leadership is offered every semester and can be taken as
the fourth course.
