This document discusses modeling and analysis of different types of beam-column connections. It examines shallow beams with large openings, simply supported and continuous deep beams with web openings, and various beam-column joint configurations including knee corners under opening and closing moments, obtuse corners, wide beams on narrow columns and vice versa, exterior connections, tee connections, and interior connections. Examples are provided on strength assessment and design of some of these connection types. The role of structural detailing in joint behavior is also addressed.
