1. Open the hood and remove the three (3) factory 10mm 2. Apply several layers of masking tape to the painted upper
bolts across the top of the factory bumper cover. grille opening (around the upper factory grille, as shown).

4. Insert a flat blade screwdriver inbetween the bumper
cover and the grille mounting tabs and twist to release
the tabs across the top of the grille.

8. Once the tape has softened, insert a plastic tool or body
putty spreader underneath the emblem and pry it from the
factory grille. DO NOT USE A METAL TOOL OR SCREWDRIV-
ER AS YOU WILL DAMAGE THE EMBLEM.
5. Pull the grille towards you at the top to expose the retain-
ing tabs on the left and right sides of the grille. Insert a
flat blade screwdriver inbetween the bumper cover and
the tab and twist to release the side mounting tabs.
6. Once the clips release, pull the grille straight out to
remove it from the bumper cover (not shown).

9. Remove any factory double faced tape from the back of the
factory grille emblem. Install the supplied .045” x .250” dou-
ble faced tape to the back of the factory emblem as shown.

7. Use a heat gun on the reverse side of the factory chrome
section to heat the double faced tape retaining the grille
emblem. Once the chrome starts to wrinkle, the emblem
is ready for removal.

10. Align the supplied emblem mounting plate to the back
of the taped factory emblem once the tape backing has
been removed. Press firmly to set the tape.
***** EMBLEM INSTALLATION *****
Align the emblem assembly onto the mesh and install it
using the supplied large black plastic washers, #10 S.S.
lock washers and #8-32 S.S hex nuts (not shown).

IMPORTANT!
The exposed edges of the stainless steel grille
and mesh can be extremely sharp. Please han-
dle with care.
11. Remove the preinstalled balck cap plugs. Align the mesh
section to the lower grille surround, then use a small
deep socket and an extension and slip it down over the
bottom studs and bend them towards the top of the
grille. Approximate bend angle is 15 to 20 degrees.

14. Raise the vehicle and remove the factory fasteners and
remove the lower front pan to install the lower mesh
grille.

12. Install the supplied black cap plugs over the bottom
mounting studs once the closed ends are cut off.

15. Align the lower mesh grille assembly into place and
check the angle of the studs. If the grille sits too high,
bend the studs until the grille is centered in the opening.
Pull down on the bottom of the bumper cover and
install the supplied black plastic washers and a #8-32
ESNA half nuts onto the lower mounting studs. Tighten
only until the washers no longer rotate but DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN. Overtightening will indent the surround
at the stud locations. Once the grille is tightened, rein-
stall the lower pan and remove the masking tape around
the grille opening.

13. Use masking tape to tape around the edge of the
grille opening.

16. Measure and mark the top center of the bumper cover.
17. Cut out and align the supplied upper grille upper hole
location template and tape it into place (as shown).
18. Use an awl or similar pointed tool to mark the hole loca-
tions on to the bumper cover. Untape the template, flip
it over and mark the opposite side.

21. Use a 1/8’ drill bit to drill through the marks made in the
lower grille opening. Use the drill bit to connect the
holes, creating a mounting slot.

24. With the tabs engaged in the bumper cover slots,
remove any protective tape that could get caught
behind the upper mesh grille surround. Peel the tape
back over its self to minimize brakeage.

remove any glue residue. Use alcohol or glass cleaner
and a clean cloth to remove any solvent residue.
USE CAUTION! Be careful while cleaning as the edges of
the stainless steel can be very sharp.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:
E&G Classics, Inc. warrants its chrome parts and products to be free from defects in ma-
terial, workmanship or finish for Twenty-Four (24) months from the date of shipment by E&G.
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement, at E&G Classics option, of the defective part
or product.
To obtain performance under this warranty you must:

1.) Present your E&G unit to an authorized distributor in your area with proof of purchase.
2.) If no distributor is available, contact E&G Classics (address below) for authorization to return unit.
3.) Returns - All unauthorized returns will be refused. Merchandise approved by E&G for return
must have been purchased within the Twenty-Four (24) months. All returns require an authori-
zation number obtained from E&G and the actual return must be accompanied by the written
authorization form filled out completely. All merchandise must be inspected upon receipt and
shortages reported within 48 hours. All merchandise must be in a resalable condition.
Merchandise must be packed carefully in the original packing. If original packing is no longer
usable, repack item(s) comparable to original manner. All returns are subject to a 25% handling
charge. Special order items are not returnable. Defective merchandise must have an explana-
tion of the problem. No credit will be issued unless invoice number and date of purchase has
been supplied. Manufacturer shall be sole judge of defects in a product.
4.) UPS accounts - All returns must be prepaid. Do not send return shipments freight collect. Once
E&G has made its decision and it is a claim against our warranty policy, E&G will credit incom-
ing freight on damaged parts.
5.) No discontinued part or parts changed due to body style are returnable.

You are responsible for inspecting all packages containing E&G Classics' parts and product
immediately upon their receipt and must file a claim with the carrier for any damage disclosure by
such inspection and notify E&G classics in writing at the above address of any such damage. This
warranty does not extend to any of our products which have been subject to misuse, neglect, acci-
dent or have been altered or repaired in any way. This warranty does not cover any accidental or con-
sequential damages for any breach of this warranty agreement. E&G Classics shall have no responsi-
bility for any loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss or consequential damage, nor shall E&G be
liable for any injury or damage to persons or property by reason of any defect in material, workman-
ship or finish of its parts or products. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also
have other rights which may vary from state to state.
