leading to liberation to nirvana the painful cycle of rebirth. There are 8 steps,
Right understanding, Right Thought, Right Speech, Right actions, Right
Livehood, Right effort, Right mindfulness, and Right concentration. The
eightfold path, as laid down by Buddha, helps an individual attain the state of
Nirvana by freeing him from attachments and delusions and that will help him
understand the truth.
