SECTION 1 INTRODUCTION

The 05311B1 OxyDetect has been approved by various authorities for installation in
hazardous and non-hazardous areas. The certification offered depends upon the analyser
specification and country of delivery. See the certification labels attached to the analyser
for exact approval details. The following information summarises the approvals that have
been obtained.

This certification manual covers:

1. 05311B1 OxyDetect

The installer and/or the user of the analyser must be satisfied that the installation complies
with any “Special Conditions for Safe Use” or “Schedule of Limitations” contained in the
following Certificates.

If the analyser is installed in a hazardous area then electrical power and other connecting
cables should be installed and protected according to conditions on the relevant
certificates, national wiring regulations, hazardous area codes of practice and local
authority regulations.
