While credibility is a blurry line as is, our

contributors are known for their genuine
public contribution before  The Breaker
Amos Decker welcomes you in this first edition of ever started. Ahmad Matari, former SAN
The Breaker Magazine, and discusses journalism. Executive Producer, is one of the most
influential activist in the sphere of
journalism, politics, and literature. After
the tribulations of politics and media,
Matari decided to leave the agency for a
better future. This future, he believed,
would start here, with The Breaker.
Alessandro Ricci is also a social activist
on gun laws, politics, and economy. He
has been organizing civil, peaceful
protests since 2011.

Amos Decker is a former FBI Special Agent

from the suburbs of Los Santos. His work
has been published with SANews, The Libo-
cratic, and Feedbuzz.

WHO IS BEHIND THIS?
In the past years, since the
governmental system has started
to rapidly change - and deteriorate
into a blurry abyss, a group of
young social activist decided to
draw the line for the people. Amos
Decker was joined with a group of
friends and strangers to put an end
- and consequently a start - in the
era of Los Santos corruption.
Alongside their field work, they
have founded The Breaker Magazine
in order to provide more transpa-
-rent  information and news to the
public, keeping in mind the facts
about the recent shutdown of the
News Agency. Albeit biased and
pro-government, the News Agency
was the only platform left for the
public to a) receive credible,
trustworthy information about life
in Los Santos, and b) express
themselves freely. Now that the
San Andreas News Agency is gone,
the public is in need of a platform
that represents their thoughts and
ideology. For this, and this only, we
Amos Decker has been a
political activist since the
2000's. Once an FBI Special
Agent, Amos Decker saw the
need for a change in the
system, which was when he
decided to quit the force.
He co-founded The Breaker
with Ahmed Matari.

From the shutdown of San Andreas News, to the halt of FBI, how do security,
politics, and journalism collide in a community where nothing is clear? Ahmed
Matari answers question by the public!
POLITICS & SOCIETY
As a veteran trusted journalist,
correspondent, and news
producer, a lot of people ask me
about the future of free speech in
this country, but specifically this
very state of Los Santos. Part of
why I joined The Breaker is to
provide real answers to real
questions. It is no doubt that ,
with the shutdown of the national
news agency SAN, the halt of FBI
operational task forces, and
deep-rooted corruption within
the government, have all
contributed to the downfall of
what we used to call democracy.
With free spech gone, nothing
else remains.
What does the shutdown mean
to the future of free speech?
It is not safe to assume or
speculate about the future of
basic human rights in the future
of this state. However, there is no
nay-saying about the fact that is

hovering above our heads. The
fact remains that news has
changed. The essence of news is
saying whatever you want
whenever you want. This could
mean many things, among which
is the introduction of a new police
state, the likes of Egypt and Saudi
Arabia.
Why is FBI important? Why
should we care about them?
Some would argue that the FBI is
not essential, in that the work of
the Los Santos Police and
Sheriff's Departments are
sufficient. The truth is, the
capacity in which these
departments can operate are the
least sufficient or efficient. Drug
circulation by local cartels have
not halted since the 90's, which
begs the question: who is
responsible for stopping them?
Who is responsible for stopping
trafficking and illegal gun-selling?
Are the police doing their job? How can we know
for sure?
The answer to this question pertains to the
shutdown of San Andreas News. One of the many
ways of supervising the work quality and quantity of
the government - and its facilities, including the
Police, Hospitals, Military, and others - is having
reporters roaming around the city with their
weapons - CAMERAS - to document almost all events
involving these parties. To answer the question, in
reality, is not really. Police have been known in the
past to bend the truth, frame innocent people, and
discriminate between civilians. No one can know for
sure. In 2018, my friend Amos Decker was part of
the FBI, during which he documented tens of police
violations among the force. With the shutdown of
the FBI, these documentations have been lost.
