This document is an internal assessment test for an 8th semester BE Mechanical Engineering course on Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing. The test has 3 parts:
Part A contains 5 short answer questions worth 2 marks each on topics like the design process, product lifecycles, geometric transformations, and differences between CAD/CAM and CIM.
Part B contains 2 long answer questions worth 10 marks each, one requiring writing short notes on design processes and CAD system architecture, and the other involving rotating a rectangle and finding new coordinates.
Part C contains 1 long answer question worth 10 marks requiring classifying and comparing different production systems. The test is out of a total of 50 marks and takes 90 minutes
