Job title: Room boy


Summary:
We are looking for a Room Boy to join our team and provide excellent customer
service to our hotel guests.

Room Boy responsibilities include changing towels, making beds and cleaning
bathrooms. You will also address clients’ queries and make sure our rooms are fully-
stocked, clean and inviting at all times. If you’re interesting in kickstarting your career in
the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests
during their stay with us.

Responsibilities or Duties:

1. Change bed linen and make beds.

2. Replace used towels.

3. Sweep and mop floors.

4. Vacuum carpets.

5. Dust furniture.

6. Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo).

7. Restock beverages and food items in the mini-bar.

8. Clean public areas, like corridors.

9. Report any technical issues and maintenance needs.


10. Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services).

11. Help guests retrieve lost items.

12. Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift.

13. Follow hotel security guidelines

Requirements:

 Work experience as a Room Attendant or Maid

 Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products

 Good physical health and stamina

 Flexibility to work in shifts

 Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance

standards

 Excellent organization skills

 Ability to follow instructions

 High school diploma is a plus

Job Title: Food Attendant


Summary:
Food attendants assist with all aspects of meal preparation, food handling, and
service. Restaurants, cafeterias, diners, hotels, and food service establishments of all
types hire food attendants to restock food and dining room items, speak with customers,
and oversee buffet and food service stations. Food attendants are managed by the food
service director or kitchen manager and work during all shifts, including weekends and
holidays. Food attendants are hired for full- and part-time hours and are rarely required
to travel.

Responsibilities or Duties:

1. Food attendants organize and plate buffet items, break down and clean buffets,
and refill foods on the buffet as necessary.
2. Food attendants resupply napkins, cutlery, dishes, and condiments on food
service stations as needed during meal service.
3. Food attendants assist with meal prep, making and serving items such as salads,
in-house dressings, and specialty drinks.
4. Food attendants answer phones and take delivery orders from customers.
5. Food assistants clean all dining, food service, and kitchen areas before, during,
and after meal service.
6. At all times, food assistants follow all food safety standards and restaurant
sanitation regulations. This includes washing hands, emptying trash, and
cleaning dining areas.
7. Food attendants answer customer questions and make menu suggestions to sell
more items.
8. Food attendants sometimes collect money on customer bills to assist cashiers
and wait staff.

Requirements:

 Hands-on experience in preparing all food items according to recipe cards and

procedures.

 Outstanding knowledge of cold prep, proper knife handling and maintaining

sanitation.

 Exceptional ability to quickly process all cash transactions.

 Proficient in using standard industrial custodial and kitchen cleaning equipment.

 Profound ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance according to

standards.

 Amazing ability to work at a fast pace environment.

 Remarkable ability to tolerate hand smoke, noise and bright lights.

 Excellent verbal and Written communication skills.
