The University of Sydney Oral Health contains a MMI (Mutiple Mini Interviews) for those that pass an easy UMAT requirement. The interview is to assess the eligibility of a student to perform w
the Oral Health course.

There are seven stations in the interview.

Station 1: You are given a picture with randomly assorted shapes and sit across to another applicant. You must try and convey the image across to them using any means except showi
them.

Station 2: You receive information from the student at station 1 and try to draw the picture.

Station 3: Empathy test: You are studying for your massive end of year university exams when suddenly your classmates cousin is in a serious car crash he/she approaches you obvio
does not know what to do, what do you do?.

Station 4: 5 minutes of your own monologue on what you think oral health science is about (Advantages and Disadvantages, what you do once graduated, why do you want to study it, w
passion, have you any experience in dental surgery).

Station 5: You are studying for a assignment and complain to one of your classmates that you cannot find the information for the feature article you have to write. Just when you’re about to give
classmate shows you some pages he/she has ripped out of a reference book in the library containing the exact information you need to complete the assignment, he/she then says "look, now we ca
get top marks" - What should you do? (There is no other information like this, your entire class needs this info, the reference book is one of a kind.)

Station 6: You are deciding to do Bachelor of oral health at either uni A or uni B your friends share the same value and abilities as you and you have friends at both universities, your friends at un
very happy about their education and social life, where your friends at uni B have a deep reservation against it. However studies show 80% of graduates from uni B get high paying jobs and the de
the university claims the graduates are genuinely happy which university do you feel inclined towards?.

Station 7: You are given a statement about teachers: Research shows teachers who are skilled at A lack skill in B and teachers skilled in B lack skills in A. This lack of optimum teaching has prod
unwanted results in students. You are then given 12 statements and you are to pick the one which best concludes the statement above. When you choose your conclusion you must discuss it and w
stood out to you, you then must also choose one conclusion which you steered away from and explain why and then one conclusion which was a toss up. You can add whatever you want at the en

Information updated from students in 2009.

Do note the questions may differ and scenarios may change year to year, as well as depending on the time of the interview (people to be first interviewed may have different questions to
being interviewed later) however they are unlikely to change everything.
