Reproductive health in women has a holistic definition that includes healthy conditions in the
reproductive organs and psychological. This condition can be achieved through a continuous process. In
each of these phases, women have their respective roles and tasks related to their reproductive system.
The fact is that 65% of adolescent girls in Indonesia experience the dynamics of reproductive health
problems during puberty. Violence against women is a global phenomenon that is not affected by racial
or ethnic, cultural and social class boundaries. Data collected from Bhayangkara Hospital of Tulungagung
in 2017 to 2018 about the age of women victims of sexual violence vary between ages 4 to 57 years,
with the distribution being 15.2% of children, 51.5% of adolescents and 33.3% of adults. From these
data shows that the dominance of violence is in the teenage period, meaning that this incident is
experienced by reproductive age woman. This period is a golden phase for a woman because in this
phase she is optimizing all the functions of her reproductive organs, thus requiring a healthy condition
both physically and psychologically. The existence of violence will have a very negative impact on the
reproductive function of women in this phase. So far, the handling of cases of sexual violence against
women has focused on providing legal action to perpetrators of violence in accordance with the
complaints that have been submitted. Recovery services for women victims of violence have not been
optimally provided. Hypnotherapy techniques are expected to be a breakthrough to deal with the
conditions of depression experienced by adolescent girls victims of sexual violence. Every woman has
the right to get a healthy condition both physically and psychologically, so women who are in a state of
depression will need more intensive attention and action to achieve these healthy conditions.
Hypnotherapy can be access to achieve this condition.

This research is a comparative observational study with the design of Two Groups Pretest with Control
Group Design. Comparisons were made between groups that received hypnotherapy and did not. The
population in this study were all female adolescents who were victims of sexual violence who reported
at the Tulungagung District Police and conducted visum et repertum at Bhayangkara Hospital
Tulungagung in the period November 2018 to August 2019 as many as 20 adolescent girls. The sampling
method is done by purposive sampling technique. Research data analysis was performed using the
Wilcoxon test. The research data were analyzed and interpreted using the SPSS Windows version 25
computer program.

The analysis shows that there is a significant difference on the scale of depression in the trauma healing
hypnotherapy treatment class, with probability = 0.004> α = 0.05. While the results of the analysis to
compare the results of the post-test in the two groups, it was found that there was a significant
difference on the scale of depression of adolescent girls victims of sexual violence at Bhayangkara
Hospital of Tulungagung, with probability = 0.103 <α = 0.05.

Adolescent women victims of sexual violence who received hypnotherapy treatment had a positive
change in their psychological condition, namely the scale of depression decreased or could even
disappear altogether compared to adolescent girls victims of sexual violence who did not receive
hypnotherapy treatment. Trauma healing hypnotherapy can affect the decrease in the scale of
depression in adolescent girls victims of sexual violence at Bhayangkara Hospital of Tulungagung.
