Tertiary education

I’m currently following a Java course at University of Colombo School of

Computing in Sri lanka, which will be useful for my degree programme.

Reasons for selecting CQU Foundation Studies

I have selected the CQU Foundation Studies because I would like to gain a
basic platform for my tertiary studies including foreign exposure. I believe
CQU foundation studies program is one of the best foundation programs in
Australia as it is focused in four core fields of studies and also focused on
effective communication skills development which I strongly intending to
study.

Studying at Central Queensland University

Now I’m getting ready to follow the CQU Foundation program. The course
aims to equip the students with the knowledge and skills required to work
in small, medium and large organizations.

Therefore, I select Australia because I want to get foreign exposure in my

field of study. At the same time Australia is a good opportunity for me to
get experience since it is a fast moving country. I select the Central
Queensland University, because it has been educating students for a long
period of time and it has a good reputation and it is committed to the
pursuit of excellence in teaching and learning outcomes. I have come to
know through my agent that Melbourne is fully diversified and rich in
heritage that can be experienced through the city’s sporting, artistic,
social and religious life.

On completion of my higher studies I wish to work for Sri Lanka and I will
use my knowledge respectively to serve my country.
