Dear Sir,

Good day!

With the desire to utilize my teaching skills in my humble hometown, I am expressing my interest in
applying for a SHS item in your school, in the HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES (HUMSS) strand. I
believe that my ability to teach and manage a more mature and more complex group like the SHS
compliment the vision of your unit in promoting globally competitive future professionals.

I completed my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies at Negros

Oriental State University-Main Campus in the year 2013. I was the resident emcee/host of our
department way back college, and had experienced doing hosting events for weddings, debuts, and
the like. After graduation, I worked as a call center agent for at least a year in Cebu City, and had
enhanced even more my verbal-linguistic ability. In the year 2013, I successfully passed the LET with
a satisfactory rating of 83.20.

I have been in the teaching career for almost five years now handling Social Studies, English, and SHS
subjects. I can therefore teach any of the afore listed genres. SHS topics are really of my interest
because I love to make students think ‘outside the box’, and stimulate their critical thinking facility.
For quite a while, I have understood the dealings of a diverse classroom set-up.

Furthermore, I graciously passed the comprehensive exam in my master’s degree, and had earned
forty-five units. I have attached herewith my Complete Academic Requirements (CAR) certification as
proof, meanwhile my transcript of records is still on process. I am continually pursuing my thesis, and
will be taking the next step towards achieving my Doctor’s Degree hopefully next year. I had been
awarded as Outstanding Teacher in the school year 2017-2018, and is looking forward to the same
recognition in the school year 2018-2019 and 2019-2020. I dream to achieve more so I can give
more. I love to teach students and encourage them to reach their full potential. Enclosed is my
updated resume for your review.
