As many historians have stated, Henry VII's approach to kingship represents a meaningful change in

history. When taking into consideration how he enforced his political rule, we must examine his use of
the Council and his management of finance. Although some may argue that this king's practices have
things in common with practices of the medieval rule, if we analyze how he implemented said
practices, it is clear that he initiated a new approach to kingship.
