1. Installation of HALion 6, Groove Agent 5, Padshop 2, Retrologue 2, HALion

Sonic SE and The Grand 3

First step: Installing the application

• Choose the application to download e.g. The Grand 3 – 3.2.0 (or higher)
• Once the download has been completed (green progress bar), click 'Open'. This starts
the installation of the appropriate application.

Second step: Installing the content

• Once the download has been completed (green progress bar), click 'Open' in the line
listed by the Steinberg Download Assistant.
• The Steinberg Library Manager, a tool installed along with your application, opens and
suggests registering the contained sound files ('Register VST Sounds').
• Click 'OK' to proceed and wait for the registration to finish. Please be patient. It can
take some time until all files have been registered completely.
• As soon as the Steinberg Library Manager has completed the registration, a window
opens reporting 'VST Sounds registered successfully’. Click 'OK' to confirm.
Please note: The sound content is provided to you as a VST sound file. VST sound files can
also easily be installed and registered with a double click. It always registers all VST

2. Installation of Content Retrologue 2, Content Padshop 2, HALion Symphonic

Orchestra, Olympus Choir Micro, Prime Cuts, Zero Gravity, Granular Guitars,
Rock Essentials, Dark Planet, Triebwerk and Hypnotic Dance.
• Choose the content product to download.
• After download has been completed (green progress bar) click “Open”
• The Steinberg Library Manager opens and suggests registering the contained sound
files. Choose a location or register in place.

Erster Schritt: Installieren der Software

• Auswahl der Software zum Download z.B. The Grand 3 – 3.2.0 (oder höher)
• Sobald der Download der Software abgeschlossen wurde (grüner Fortschrittsbalken),
können Sie die Installation der Software starten, indem Sie in der Zeile neben der
Software auf "Öffnen" klicken.

Zweiter Schritt: Installieren der Soundinhalte

• Sobald die Programm-Installation und der Download für den Soundinhalt
abgeschlossen wurde (grüner Fortschrittsbalken), klicken Sie in der Zeile neben dem
Soundinhalt auf "Öffnen".
• Daraufhin öffnet sich der Steinberg Library Manager, ein Tool, das zusammen mit der
Software installiert wird. In einem Pop-up-Fenster bietet es die Registrierung der
Sound-Dateien an ('Register VST Sounds').
• Klicken Sie auf "OK", um fortzufahren und warten Sie auf den Abschluss der
Registrierung. Bitte haben Sie etwas Geduld. Es kann eine Weile dauern, bis alle
Dateien registriert wurden.
• Die erfolgreiche Registrierung meldet der Steinberg Library Manager über ein
weiteres Pop-up-Fenster ('VST Sounds registered successfully.'). Klicken Sie zur
Bestätigung auf "OK".

Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Soundinhalt über VST Sound Dateien bereitgestellt wird. VST
Sound Dateien können Sie jederzeit auch einfach über einen Doppelklick registrieren. Zur
Vereinfachung werden automatisch alle VST Sound Dateien innerhalb eines Ordners
