Description

This base frame BG 55, which has an

overall length of 390 mm is designed for
fitting a video web monitor type
EUROSCOPE made by the BST company.

The upper side or the lower side of the

web can be monitored.

The essential operating elements for the

web monitor are located on the camera
unit.

The synchronization transmitter (proximity

switch) controlling the picture generation
is located at the phase shifter gearbox of
the last base frame BG 10 of your
machine.

The monitor and controller are located on

the drive cover or on the rail system on
the top of the drive cover of the base
frame.

3. Operation

3.2 Setting up

When installing the camera unit, monitor

and controller, please follow the
installation instructions of the
manufacturer of the additional equipment,
BST company (see operating instruction
"Video web monitor system type
EUROSCOPE" of the BST company.

3. Operation

3.3 Inserting web

To ensure correct functioning, it is

essential that the run of the web

3. Operation
3.4 Setting
The settings required for operation of the
web monitor system are made at the
operating elements of camera unit 1 (see
operating instruction "Video web monitor
system type EUROSCOP" of the BST
company.
3.5 Starting up
After all the necessary settings have been
carried out, the printing machine can be
run up to the desired production speed.
3.6 Shutting down
3.6.1 Shutting down for a short period
During a short interruption of the
production process, no measures need to
be taken or adjustments made.

3.6.2 Shutting down at end of shift
At the end of the shift, the printing
machine should be switched off (see
operating instruction "Drive station BG
09).
In addition, monitor 2 and controller 3
should be switched off at the
corresponding mains switch.
At the start of a new shift, controller 3
and monitor 2 must be switched on again.
The values last set are retained.
3.6.3 Shuttung down for a longer period
If this unit is not to be used for a longer
period, it should be thoroughly cleaned.

4. Care and maintenance

4.1 Qualification of staff When cleaning the additional equipment,

please follow the instructions of the
Cleaning and maintenance work may only manufacturer BST.

with the machine (see "General safety

staff" at the beginning of this manual).

4.2 Care

The base frame for video web monitor

cleaned after every job. Lubricants
removed during cleaning must be replaced.
Deflection rollers 6 should be cleaned only
with a soft cloth soaked in solvent

Caution :
Risk of damaging the deflection rollers.

with sharp or pointed objects.
