Library databases:

 International Geothermal Association (IGA). Library database devoted to geothermal literature

(papers, conference proceedings, books). The papers from WGC 2015 have been uploaded. The
IGA conference database is hosted by Stanford University and has the big advantage that you
can download full text of the papers (.pdf). http://www.geothermal-
energy.org/publications_and_services/conference_paper_database.html
 Geothermal Resources Council (GRC). The library database is good at locating papers from their
annual Geothermal Conferences. The disadvantage is that only selected papers can be
downloaded without payment. Most papers have been ported to the IGA database:

 GEGNIR has the full collection of Icelandic libraries. It holds reports of Orkustofnun (National
Energy Authority, Iceland) and from ÍSOR (Iceland GeoSurvey) with a wealth of geothermal
information e.g. all research reports, drilling reports etc. For most hits you can be download full
text, but the majority is written in Icelandic: http://www.gegnir.is/, select English.
 Skemman – repository of Icelandic research documents e.g. MS or PhD thesis. Search examples:
„geothermal“, “jarðhiti” or “jarðfræði”. The site has the abstracts and for many documents the
full text for downloading. http://skemman.is/en/
 United Nations University Geothermal Training Programme (UNU-GTP). The full text reports of
UNU fellows (.pdf) are published for reports starting from 1980. They contain a wealth of
information on most geothermal technologies and from most geothermal regions of the world
and also the annual guest lecturer notes. http://www.unugtp.is/en/publications
