Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited, a leading ‘Mini Ratna’ Public Sector Enterprise, under the Ministry of Coal,
earning profit over three decades and poised for rapid growth in terms of Mining activities and Power generation,
invites applications from the candidates possessing following qualification and experience for recruitment in
various posts in Executive / Supervisory Cadre and posting in any Unit / Area / Place situated in India under the
control of Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited or in any Joint Venture / Associate / Subsidiary company of Neyveli

E-1 : Rs.16400-40500; E-2 : Rs.20600-46500; E-3 : Rs.24900-50500

LEVEL OF INDUCTION:
For Executive Cadre : Depending upon qualification, area / length of experience (including 2 years experience in
immediate lower scale) as well as Upper age limit and performance in the Written Test / Practical Test / Interview,
as the case may be, the selected candidates will be placed suitably in any one of the posts notified.
For Supervisory Cadre : Selected Candidates will be appointed as Junior Engineer Grade – II (Mining) in S-2
Grade to perform the duties of Overman. However, candidates possessing minimum four years of post
qualification experience as Overman shall be considered for appointment as Junior Engineer Grade – I (Mining) in
S-3 Grade directly.
PLACE OF INITIAL POSTING:
For Executive Cadre : Candidates selected in the disciplines indicated in Sl. No. 1 to 10 above will be posted
initially at Barsingsar project / Rajasthan and in Sl. No. 11 will be posted initially at Regional Office / New Delhi to
function as Regional Manager.
For Supervisory Cadre (Sl. No.12) : Candidates selected shall be posted at any of the Mines located either at
Neyveli (Tamil Nadu) or Barsingsar (Rajasthan).

METHOD OF SELECTION:
Selection for the posts in Mines Survey Discipline will be based on Written Test / Practical Test and Personal
Interview. For all other disciplines, including for the post of Junior Engineer (Mining) in supervisory cadre, the
selection will be based on personal interview.
Venue, Date & Time of selection will be intimated to the eligible candidates.
RESERVATION OF POSTS:
a) Two posts in executive cadre are reserved for Persons with Disability.
b) 1 post in Deputy Engineer (Instrumentation & Control) is reserved for SC category.
c) 11 posts (i.e) 1 post each in Deputy Engineer (Mechanical), Asst. Executive Engineer (Mechanical), Senior
Executive Engineer (Mechanical), Deputy Engineer (Electrical), Addl. Engineer (Electrical), Asst. Executive
Engineer (Electrical), Executive Engineer (Electrical), Senior Executive Engineer (Electrical), Deputy Officer
(Survey) and 2 posts in Deputy Engineer (Instrumentation & Control) are reserved for OBC Category.
d) In the post of Junior Engineer Grade – II (Mining), 9 posts for SC category and 14 posts for OBC Category
are reserved.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. Applicants should furnish the complete information in the Applications Form and enclose sufficient proof with
the Application Form to clearly establish their eligibility. In case of insufficient information / proof to ascertain
the eligibility of the applicant, their candidature will summarily be rejected.
2. Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate applications for each post.
3. Candidates from PSE/Govt./Quasi Govt. should apply through proper channel or produce ‘No Objection
Certificate’ (NOC) at the time of Interview.
4. Candidates called for attending the Selection / Personal Interview are eligible for reimbursement of Traveling
expenses (To and Fro 2-Tier A/C Train / Bus single Fare for executive cadre and II Class Train / Bus Single
Fare for Supervisory Cadre) for their travel from the Present address to the Selection / Interview Venue by the
shortest route, subject to production of proof and NOC in case working in PSE / Govt. / Quasi Govt.
Organizations.
5. Incumbent joining the above posts is required to work in any Unit / Area / Place situated in India under the
control of Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited or in any Joint Venture / Associate / Subsidiary company of
Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited, to which they may be posted.
6. Candidates are informed that mere submission of Applications shall not give them any right to be called for
interview / selection and NLC reserves the right not to fill up any or all the posts notified at its discretion.
7. In case any ambiguity / dispute arises on account of interpretation in Hindi Version, English version will prevail.
8. Other benefits / facilities: In addition to the Basic Pay and DA, incumbent joining the above posts is entitled for
Performance Related Pay (for executive cadre), Yearly Productivity Linked Incentive / Quarterly Plant
Performance Reward (For Supervisory Cadre) and other benefits viz., free Medical treatment for self, spouse
and dependant sons / daughters / parents, monthly Reimbursement of Conveyance Expenditure, Contributory
Provident Fund, Gratuity, Leave Travel Concession / Allowance (LTC / LTA for all India tour and travel to

Application Fee of Rs.300/- (Non-refundable) is payable by Demand Draft drawn in favour of Neyveli Lignite
Corporation Limited, Neyveli–1 payable at Neyveli. (SC/ST, PWD and Ex-Servicemen are exempted).
