PREVIOUS FEEDBACK
2018 2019
very great course I loved attending IC242 classes. Bhutani sir made such a terrifying course a
cake walk. The only course where my attendence is above 70%(lol).
Taking project and assignment in last 2-3 weeks and giving 20 %
weightage to it is not right. Great course and the best instructor we could have had for this course. Sad
# Bhutani_is_cool and so his classes are also cool (well most of them). to see he will have to change from next session onwards. Taught the course
at perfect pace. Just, don't like the surprise quiz thing. Overall, awesome
One of the best teachers I have studied from experience. 5/5 for all !
All concepts were explained beautifully and clearly. Doubts were More Number of practice questions be introduced for a better grasp of the

were never boring and interest was created in the course.
More tutorial sessions required. Idea of Compulsory attendance worked
Though it’s not the teachers fault but removing attendance didn’t prove this time. Too much extra classes at the end of the course.
helpful to me and at the end of the course I started skipping some classes
The best course instructor I came across till now during my BTech. He
Keep attendance, so the students come to class ! organised the course in a very systematic and smooth way. I was able to
Awesome Teacher ! (^_^) understand the concepts very well throughout the course with minimum
effort. Also, explaining concepts on blackboard was vey beneficial and it
It was a really nice course and one of the best till now, but I would suggest should continue.
that attendance should be made compulsory in the course as students do
not miss the class because they don't find interest in the subject but because This course was beautifully covered by Dr. Gaurav Bhutani, these are one
of the few courses that I actually enjoyed here at IIT Mandi. Faculty
it has become a habit due to other courses. actually takes interest in teaching and puts efforts to teach this course.
HATS OFF SIR!
The instructor tries too hard to be cool
To be honest the course was better than others.

MY EXPECTATIONS
Enjoy the course (ideas matter)
Please ask questions
Attend lectures
Not a difficult course but a new concept
Missing lectures will break continuity and you may get disheartened and lose interest
Try to think how the things you learn can be applied in real life technological
solutions.
At the end of the course I want you to have learnt something new
FUN FACT / FOOD FOR THOUGHT
We will spend the last few minutes of each lecture talking about an interesting fact
relating to history of science / scientific ideas.
