Guidelines regarding Multiple-Choice Question Bank and Online Test

As discussed in previously issued instructions of Hon’ble Chancellor, University is planning for online MCQ test. In continuation of this university is
issuing some guidelines for generation of MCQ question bank, which are as follows:

1- Minimum 150 and above MCQ will be generated by faculty for each subject.
2- Last date of submission of question bank for quality check (for final year): 15/05/2020
3- Last date of submission of question bank for quality check (for other than final year): 5/06/2020
4- Last date of quality check by Directors/Deans: 23/05/2020
5- The question bank should be divided into three parts containing questions of various difficulty level as given in the following table:

1. This segment consists of simple type of question.
80 and above Low 2. Questions will be from each unit of the syllabus.
Part-A
3. Every question will have 4 options and only one option will be
correct.
1. This segment consists of moderate type of question.
Part-B 40 and above Average 2. Questions will be from each unit of the syllabus.
3. Every question will have 4 options and one or two options can
be correct, or all options can be wrong, all options can be right.

1. This segment consists of analytical type of minimum 30 and


Part-C 30 and above High above question.
2. This section will comprise of analysis based, case study based
and numerical based multiple-choice questions.

6- Every faculty should also prepare a solution sheet of the question bank and submit to their respective Director/Dean for record.
7- Date and Timing of exam will be communicated later (Via department)
8- Online exam will be in complete coherent with computer as well as mobile technology.
