Hello, I would like to start off by asking who here has wondered about space

travel or wanted to know more about space. But first we have to talk about how our

solar system was formed. Our solar system used to be just a bunch of rock and

asteroids floating around. But then there was something called a nebula collapsed from

its own gravity and after that it started to spin faster and faster until it turned into a giant

disk and then it will eventually become our sun that we now know today.

Alright, If you want to go to space you will need some very important tools and

equipment. And You will have to make sure that all that equipment is running at 100%

and that it will not fail, or else you could be sucked into the vacuum of space or be adrift

forever. If a manned space mission sounds too dangerous to you could just send a

satellite to space to observe and learn more about space. But it is not exactly that

simple, first you have to do a lot of research before construction them you have to make

sure that everything is put together very well so that it has strength and rigidity, also you

want to be able to fit all of the things that are going in the rocket before it is finished. To

launch a rocket you will need a lot of computers and different devices to make sure

everything is running properly especially the rocket boosters and when it gets into space

you need to make sure that the satellite or space probe exits the rocket and will orbit or

go where you want it to go. And you need to make sure that it will stay running for and

working for the time it is up there. I think that one important thing that is happening is

that our technologies and tools are always being refined and getting better, I think that
this is important because that means that some time in the future we will soon be able

to go a lot farther and learn more about space because our technology has evolved so

much. Some things that have evolved are the spacecraft because we are now starting

to see reusable launch systems, we are seeing an evolution of the rover and the ways

that it lands, and we are seeing better and better telescopes to see farther and farther. I

bet in a few years time we will soon start to see even better versions of these things.

Alright as we all know we live in the solar system and I think that it is important to

learn about the differences and the reasons why it's like this. First, I would like to start

off by showing you this video I made on how the solar system was formed using gravity.

So what you are seeing right now is a plastic ring with some spandex around it, and this

represents an area in the universe. Then I will take a light ball like a marble and roll it

across the spandex and this represents an unformed planet roaming freely across the

universe. Next I will take a larger ball like a baseball and roll that across but what

happens is that it is too heavy and it will stop in the middle and this represents a star

that was too heavy to travel though the universe. Then if you roll the marble back across

the spandex the marble will get caught in the space where the baseball is and it will

start to circle the star like a planet in orbit. So now the solar system is formed and there

is a reason why everything is there and why it is important. One very important force

that takes place in our solar system is gravity and plays an important role in keeping the

solar system the way it is like how the sun keeps all of the planets in place and makes
sure they are always staying in their orbit but also Jupiter keeps the asteroid belt in its

place.

I am sure that most of know that the moon affects the tide on earth but it is not

just the moon it is also the sun and when both of there planets gravity combined it will

make the earth go into almost a football shape and of course this affects the tide witch

in this case is a spring tide witch is kind of like hi tide but not really. The sun and moon

also have a large part in eclipse’s that we see every so often. Let's start with the solar

eclipse. The solar eclipse is when the moon is in line with the sun and the moon starts

to cover the sun and the sky will start to darken. In the case with a lunar eclipse it is

when the sun, earth moon are all lined up in that order, the light from the sun projects

onto the earth and when the light from the sun reaches the moon there is a shadow of

the earth because it is also having light shown on it. A Lot of people wonder why we see

lunar eclipses more than solar and that is because the earth is a lot bigger than the

moon so more people around the world will see the eclipse. As with solar eclipses the

moon is very small so only a very small area of the world's population will get to see it at

that time.
