METAR/TAF は国際標準とはいえ、日本とアメリカでは書式がだいぶ違います。いちおう日本の書式を中心に意味を
調べましたが、米軍基地の METAR はアメリカ方式ですのでそちらの書式も含めました。 I~VI は、まとまりのある
用語群です。VII はその他の用語でアルファベット順になってます。
I. 特性を表す記号 [Characteristics]
MI** (Shallow) -- 浅い (FG と組み合わせで地霧) ※(仏)Mince の略
BC** (Patches) -- 散在 (FG と組み合わせ) ※(仏)Bancs の略
PR** (Partial) -- 部分的 (FG と組み合わせ)
DR** (Low Drifting) -- 低い (DU,SA,SN が 2m 未満の高さ)
BL** (Blowing) -- 高い (DU,SA,SN が 2m 以上の高さ)
SH** (Shower) -- しゅう雨性 (RA,SN,GS,GR と組合せ) ※対流性の雲から降る雨/雪
TS** (Thunderstorm) -- 雷電(降水なければ TS のみ。降水時は RA,SN,GS,GR と組合せ)
FZ** (Freezing) -- 着氷性 (FG,DZ,RA と組み合わせ)
V. 雲量 [Cloud Coverage]
SKC (Sky Clear) -- 雲量 0/8 (雲なし)
FEW (Few) -- 雲量 1/8 ~ 2/8
SCT (Scattered) -- 雲量 3/8 ~ 4/8
BKN (Broken) -- 雲量 5/8 ~ 7/8 ※雲量 BKN 以上で Ceiling
OVC (Overcast) -- 雲量 8/8 (全天を覆う雲)
VII. 上記にない記号の意味(アルファベット順)
+ (heavy) -- 強い
- (light) -- 弱い
$ (maintenance check indicator) -- 観測機のメンテナンスが必要
9999 -- 視程 10km 以上
A**** (Altimeter) -- 高度計規制値(インチ値)
A01(Automated Observation w/o Precipitation Discriminator)--自動観測・降水測定なし
A02(Automated Observation with Precipitation Discriminator)--自走観測・降水測定有
AMD (Amended forecast) -- 修正された予報であることを示す
AUTO (Automated) -- 自動航空気象観測(AUTOMAED SENSOR METWATCH とも)
AT (at) -- ~時に、予報状態の発生時刻
**B (** Beginning) -- **の始まり (RAB で雨の始まり etc.)
BECMG (becoming) -- やがて~になる、気象に変化があり変化後の状態が続く
CAVOK (Cloud and Visibility OK) -- キャブオーケー(視程良好な快晴。正確には視程 10km 以上、5000ft または最
低扇形別高度の最大値のいずれか高い値未満に雲がなく、かつ積乱雲がない、天気略語表に該当する天気がない状
態)
CIG (Ceiling) -- 雲の高さ
****D (Downward) -- RVR の変化傾向。Downward=悪化傾向。
E (East) -- 東
**E (Ending) -- **の終わり (例:SNE=雪の終わり etc.)
EST (Estimated) -- 風が目測の場合
FBL (Feeble, Light) -- 弱い (気象現象に関して)
FCST (Forecast) -- 予報
FM (from) -- ~時から、変化の始まる時刻
G** (Gust) -- 突風、強風(ノット値)
GRADU (gradually) -- じょじょに
HVY (Heavy) -- 強い (気象現象に関して)
INS (Inches) -- 気圧のインチ値
INTER (intermittent) -- 断続的
KM (Kilometer) -- キロメートル
KT (Knots in speed) -- ノット(風速など)
LTG, LIGHTNING (Lightning) -- 雷電、カミナリ
LYR (Layer) -- 層 (例:FU LYR=煙の層)
M** (Minus) -- 零下 (気温が摂氏 0 度未満)
M****? (RVR Minus) -- RVR が****メートル以下。(日本では?部分に変化傾向 U,D,N が続く。米国では FT と続き RVR
値はフィート単位となる)
MOD (Moderate) -- 並の強さ (気象現象に関して)
MOV (moving) -- 移動している
N (North) -- 北
****N (No Change) -- RVR の変化傾向。No Change=変化なし。
NE (Northeast) -- 北東
NOSIG (No elements are expected to change) -- 重要な変化がないと予想される
NSC (Nil/No Significant Cloud) -- 特記すべき雲がない場合
NSW (No Significant Weather) -- 特に問題がない (運行に影響を及ぼす悪天がない)
NW (Northwest) -- 北西
OHD (Overhead) -- 直上を
PROB (Probability of occuring in %) -- ~が起こる確率 (パーセンテージで示される)
P****? (RVR Plus) -- RVR が****メートル以上。(日本では?部分に変化傾向 U,D,N が続く。米国では FT と続き RVR 値
はフィート単位となる)
P**** (Precipitation amount) -- 過去 1 時間あたりの降水量をインチ表示 (例:P0003 なら 0.03in、続いて 6****と
きたら過去 6-3 時間の降水量)
P/FR (Pressure Falling Rapidly) -- 気圧が 30 分間に 1hPa 以上下がった場合
P/RR (Pressure Rising Rapidly) -- 気圧が 30 分間に 1hPa 以上上がった場合
PK (Peak) -- ピーク、風が最も強いとき
Q**** (QNH) -- 高度計規制値(ヘクトパスカル値)
QNH (Atmospheric Pressure:Q at Nautical Height)--高度計規制値(INS が続けば inch 値)
RAPID (rapid) -- 迅速に
R**, R**L,R**R (Runway ** L/R) -- 滑走路番号(L=左, R=右)※後に RVR 値が続く
RE** (Recent weather) -- 過去天気 (例:RERA=直近まで雨だった事を表す)
RI (Rainfall Intensity) -- 降雨の強さ (1mm/h 単位で 4 桁。例:RI++で 30mm/h 以上を示す)
RMK (Remarks) -- 備考 (通報すべき気象要素が存在する場合 RMK に続いて表示)
RWY (Runway) -- 滑走路
RVR (Runway Visial Range) -- 滑走路の目視可能距離。通常はメートル, FT ならフィート。
S (South) -- 南
SD (Snow Depth) -- 積雪の深さ (cm 単位で三桁。"/"の後に 1 時間前の積雪との差)
SE (Southeast) -- 南東
SEV (Severe) -- 激しい (着氷、乱気流の強度など)
SFC (Surface) -- 地表面または水面
SLP (Sea Level Pressure) -- 海面気圧 (例:SLP045=1004.5 hPa、SLP915=991.5hPa)
SQL (Squall Line) -- スコールライン(前線など)
STNR (Stationary) -- 停滞、位置が動かない
SW (Southwest) -- 南西
T******** (Temperature) -- 9 桁の気温/露点温度 (例:T01760158=0 なら"+"、1 なら"-"、最初の 0176 は気温
+17.6 度、続く 0158 は露点温度+15.8 度。 続いて 1****ときたら過去 6 時間以内の最高温度、2****ときたら過
去 6 時間以内の最低温度、4********なら過去 24 時間の最高気温+最低気温、5X***ときたら過去 3 時間の気圧変化
→X は 1 桁の変化コードで***が 032 なら 3.2hPa)
T**/**Z -- 気温**度/**時(UTC 時間)
TEMPO (temporary) -- 一時的に、ときどき (気象状態の一時的変動を示す)
TL, TIL (until) -- ~時まで、変化の終わる時刻
TREND (Trend) -- METAR/SPECI に続いて通報すべき事由がある場合
TURB (Turbulence) -- 乱流、乱気流
****U (Upward) -- RVR の変化傾向。Upward=回復傾向。
***V*** (Variable) -- 風向の変動幅 (例:260V360=260~360 度の間で風向変化)
****V**** (Variable) -- RVR 変動幅が****~****(メートル)。米国では FT(フィート)。
VRB (Variable) -- 変動する、可変の (風向が特定できない場合に使用)
VC (Vicinity) -- 飛行場から 8km 以内の現象
VIRGA (Virga) -- 尾流雲 (びりゅううん。雲底から下向きの降水で地面に届かないもの)
VIS (Visibility) -- 視程
VV (Vertical Visibility) -- 鉛直視程
W (West) -- 西
WND (Wind) -- 風
WS (Wind Shear) -- ウィンドシア (水平方向や垂直方向に風向や風速が大きく変化)
WTSPT (Waterspout) -- どしゃぶり、 豪雨
******Z (Zulu Time) -- UTC 時間 (例:241355Z = 24 日 13:55UTC) ※日本は+9 時間
