RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORANIZATIONAL CULTURE AND INTERPERSONAL

SELF-EFFICACY WITH JOB PERFORMANCE IN NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION

ABSTRACT: The organizational culture in non-profit organization shared values and goals; it
implies that the culture of mutual respect, collaboration and support are more likely to attract
highly qualified, loyal employees who understand and work toward the company’s best
interest and practices. This study focused on the investigation of the relationship among
organizational culture and interpersonal self-efficacy with job performance of workers from a
certain academic institution. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between
organizational culture and interpersonal self-efficacy with job performance of the faculty
members and staff of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa. Particularly, this study sought
to: (1) determine the person-related variables of the respondents, (2) determine the
perceptions on interpersonal self-efficacy and organization culture of the respondents, (3)
determine the level of the respondents’ job performance in terms of Quality Work Output and
Quantity Work Output, (4) compare the job performance when grouped according to the
workers’ age and gender; and (5) find the significant relationship between the interpersonal
self-efficacy with job performance of the faculty members and staff of Pamantasan ng
Lungsod ng Muntinlupa. A total of sixty six (66) faculty members and staffs from different
departments of the University from the school year 2010-2011 were chosen as sample
respondents. The study utilized the descriptive design thru the use of mixed method
analysis. Significant results identified that majority of those are female and in the stage of
their early childhood who are getting started in an occupation in the foremost of their lives,
strong capable of doing many works. The defining factors include age group, gender,
assessment on organizational culture and interpersonal self-efficacy, level of job
performance in terms of quality and quantity work output and relationship between
interpersonal self-efficacy, organizational culture and job performance for them to assert
harmonious, systematic organization and competent among faculty members and staff in the
working place. Ergo, non-profit organization employees well-built in self-efficacy engage in
interpersonal relationship towards task and contextual job performances.
