Hi Team,
I spoke to your H-T-E regarding a defect that I noticed on your device that could cause this issue.
You are on a fix code release however your Package C State limit is set to C6 we need to manually change this to C0
or C1 to avoid this defect.
https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvf78458/?reffering_site=dumpcr
I have included screenshots with the steps below on how to accomplish this. This will require down time as
the system will need to be loaded in the BIOS.
Step one 1:
* Reboot server >> Press F2 which will take us to BIOS Setup Utility.
1
Step 2: Enter in to PCI Subsystem Settings.
Screen shot 2: Which takes you to PCI Subsstem Settings and select PCI-E ASPM(Global)
which will be selected [L1 Only]
2
Step 4: On CIMC >> Enter BIOS settings
Screen shot 4: Follow the steps.
3
Step 5:
Check for Package C state Limit as screen shot 5 below:
4
Step 6:
Select Package C State Limit to C0/C1 as below screen shot 6.

Hi Team,
6
Thank you for the logs. I have a few questions for you.
1) What is the operating system and build number on this server. Can you please also provide the ENIC / FNIC
driver versions
2) Are you able to run a hardware diagnostic test on this server – this will require down time.
3) I have identified a certain issue on your server and I have reached out to your High Touch Engineer Andrew
Tate to further consult him on this issue.
