Rationale:
This is to extend the experience and immersion of students to the 5 20th Century Music genres:
Impressionism, Expressionism, Serialism, Avante Garde and Minimalism. The students choose 1
music selection per genre (with a total of 5 music selections) and write a critical and comprehensive
analysis and reflection about the chosen selection. Music selections are posted at the group page
in a compressed folder (.zip file) with 53 music selections to choose from.

Rationale:
The early pop culture genres inhibit and extend its influence to modern music of our era. The rock
and broadway genres became the avenues of new expression of the human soul and reflection of
society. AS A CLASS, they will produce a musical with their OWN storyline and choosing
combinations of rock and broadway songs as main highlight of the performance that should
match their storyline.

This will be performed at the AVR (Audio-Visual Room) with a specific schedule per class (to be
announced)
A possible audience or group of people might be invited to watch your production
Designate specific roles or functions to your class. Maximize your number per class.
