HOUSE HAZARDS
Goal: To develop the communicative abilities to express ideas in the foreign language
focus on the career students are taking. This project is divided in three phases.
Aspects to develop:
House hazards
Illness
Facing issues at work
Risks at work
Giving solutions
First Term:
First Phase: Organization and vocabulary
enhancement. March 2nd to March 8th
Second Term
Second Phase: Risks, places and illness. Script. April 13th to April 19th
Third Term
Third Phase: Video. Talking about an accident at home. 2 minutes. May 11th to May 17th

VOCABULARY-ORGANIZATION
Step 1: Make a group of 3 members, in the link “Creating My Group”, select one group by clicking
on the group, then click the button “Save my option” to finish the process.
Step 2: Participate in the forum “Communication with my Group”, in this forum you can plan the
different roles of each member (family member, technician or group of friends, etc.) What will be
the Plan? How are you going to aboard the organization? How are you going to tackle the different
aspects of the main topic? What are the responsibilities of each member? What are the working
times? Who is the leader of the group? and other topics you consider necessary in this activity.
Step 3: Complete the file “Our Plan” by taking into account the agreements in the step 2.

CLASS ACTIVITY
In the face-to-face class, you must practice and develop the next activities.
1. Take some pictures from different parts of the house and play a game with the classmates.
You must deliver to them some cards with some hazards and risk. You show the part of
the house to the classmates and they speak up and say the possible problems.
