Tokom požara razvija se temperatura do 1350 0C. Visoka temperatura može

from the Belgian-registered truck to at least eight other trucks on the Italian side of the

tunnel, including firefighters and tunnel company employees, while there were 10

the Italian side. Thick smoke badly hampered the rescue work. Four
firemen were slightly hurt by fumes as they evacuated motorists and tunnel workers
stranded in the tunnel.The driver of the truck, which carried flour, wheat and margarine,
was unhurt.

Tuneli Učka i Tuhobić dobili su najlošije ocene s oznakom
"manjkav", a Učka je proglašena najlošijim tunelom između 27 testiranih

europskih tunela u devet zemalja.

ADAC je u ovomlevel
poslednjem testiranju veliku paznju obratio na
sigurnost u tunelima što, između ostalog, obuhvata i dodatne izlaze za

nuždu, levelu tunelu, te stepen zaštite od požara. Upravo na tom
signalizaciju
području utvrđeno je da dva testirana hrvatska tunela imaju lošu
• Fourthnedovoljno
signalizaciju, level obučene vatrogasce, nedostaju im i izlazi za
nuždu, a Učka ima i oštećen kolovoz, tako da su oba tunela ocenjena
• Fifthvisokog
stepenom levelsigurnosnog rizika. No, ADAC je pozitivno ocenio
najavljene radove koji bi trebali poboljšati sigurnost u oba tunela.
Inače, uz Učku i Tuhobić, negativnu ocenu dobio je i nemački tunel
Wattkopf pokraj Stuttgarta. U ADAC-ovu izvještaju pozitivno je ocenjeno
što je Europski parlament doneo zakon koji nalaže jednake sigurnosne
