Notification

Sub: DSNLU contingent Examination Scheme and Schedule in view of Covid-19 pandemic
in compliance with UGC Guidelines/BC( directions-Reg.

DSNLU Academic Council (at its' 13th emergency Meeting dt 11th May 2020) approved the
contingent scheme for on line classes, examination, evaluation and declaration ofresults.

The detailed scheme for conducting academics and examination are as follows:
l. Online Classes for Under-Graduate and Post Graduate Courses shall be completed by May
3 1, 2020.
2. Fifth year Examinations / Evaluation / Announcement of results for optional papers
(Annexure I) and Seminar Papers (Annexure II) shall be completed by announcement of
results by June 30, 2020.
3. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year Examinations/ Evaluation / Announcement of results for regular
papers (Annexure III) shall be completed by announcement of results by July 31 , 2020.
4. P.G (LL.M.) Examinations / Evaluation/ Announcement of results including submission
of Dissertation and evaluation by External Expert (Annexure IV) shall be completed by
announcement ofresults by July 31, 2020.
5. "Covid -19 Student Grievance Celr' constituted as per the direction of the UGC Guidelines.

The I 3 th Academic Council has also kindly approved the academic year 2020-' 2 1 commencement
with effect from 3rd August 2020 subject to any future contingent and noti fication thereof.
Accordingly, the classes for 2nd , 3ru ,4 1\ 5th year, (2020-'2 l batches) on being promoted to from

Jsi, 2 nd, 3 , and 4 years respectively, shall commence on 3 August 2020. The hostel shall be
made ready to open on JS1 August 2020.

Note:
I. In connection with the research papers, the guidelines issued by the Director, Academic
Affairs be strictly adhered to.
2. The Students are directed to clear all the dues to the University before submission of thei r
respecti ve research papers.

Dissertation Evaluation and Viva-Voce:

1. l11e dissertation Evaluation shall be as per the Examination Regulations except that it
shall be Online/Offiine process. The marks awarded by both the internal and external
faculty members shall be submitted to the Examination Department. The Examination
Department shall award the average of the marks allotted by the faculty members.
2. Four Hard Copies of the written submission shall be submitted to the Examination
Department on or before taking "No Due Certificate" as per the University Regulations
