Tools for staff-led quality improvement against the

NSQHS and Clinical Care Standards

MEERQAT has a suite of tools to help

hospitals assess their routine practices
against National Safety and Quality
Health Service (NSQHS) and Clinical Care
Standards.

Each tool can be used “off the shelf” or adapted

for the particular circumstances of an individual
hospital.

The tools are designed to facilitate structured

conversations amongst frontline staff about day-to-day
activities. These conversations encourage individual and
team-based reflection on current practices and enable
identification of instances of protocol variance and other
sources of latent safety threats.
