Q1.

On becoming a global teacher, one must possess the good qualities and positive
characteristics within her/himself as a professional. Future teachers should prepare to
respond to these multiple challenges. A teacher must be logical and realistic on what is
happening. To become a global teacher you should be equipped with a wider range of
knowledge of the various educational systems outside the country; master skills and
competencies which can address global demands; and possess attitudes and values
that are acceptable to multicultural communities. Global teacher doesn’t mean that you
are teaching abroad or in another country, you can be a global teacher here locally but
think globally by being the best teacher in your school even at the four corners of the
classroom.
As a future teacher, you shall be guided by UNESCO’s principle that Education is
for all and that this education is anchored on the Five Pillars which are: 1) Learning to
Know, 2) Learning to Do, 3) Learning to Be, 4) Learning to live Together, and 5)
Learning to Transform.
Based on my understanding from what I’ve had read, the Educational systems of
the selected countries has a huge similarities and there is a bit of differences as well.
Apparently they have 2 levels of education, Basic Education (Primary school,
Secondary school) and Higher Education whilst most of the parents enrolled their
children in Kindergarten/ Pre-school years as first stage/level but it is not compulsory to
some of the school before but now made compulsory institutionalized universal
kindergarten.
Obviously almost all of the schools education has 6 years in primary, 6 years in
Secondary which divided into two Junior Secondary & Senior Secondary and upon the
completion of the following year’s, students given rewarded a certificate or diploma as it
is also served as one of the requirements for entrance admission to higher or tertiary
education. Spent years on Higher Education could be up to 4-6 years, post graduates
can proceed studying bachelor degree’s, college & universities offers many courses
which students can choose what possible profession they want for their future and after
that if they want they can continue study to master’s degree, PhD and doctorates.
Q2.

Multicultural diversity: A challenge to global teachers. In this lesson offered some

tips and suggestions for the future teachers to consider as a global teacher. Diversity of
learners has now become a local and global concern among teachers.
Differences in race, ethnic, and religious groups, languages, economic status,
and family background are some of the factors that require multiple approaches in
teaching. This reality is a great challenge to all teachers that need for the teachers to
know and address this diversity especially of the students to understand them deeper.
Teachers can provide more varied and responsive learning environments by matching
teaching & learning styles. Gives attention to the diverse students varied activities which
where they can show their good or best performance and skills at as we knew that the
individuals has multiple intelligences and. To become a global teacher, you need to
broaden your teaching perspectives and expanding experiences beyond the confines of
the classroom to the wider learning environment of the world in order to achieve a level
of global competitiveness.

Q3.

Bringing the world into the classroom through educational technology. With a
global perspective and global competitiveness, educational technologies and innovative
teaching is very important in today’s time.
Technology can provide support to teaching to resolve meaningful problems, act
as scaffolding to learning, and promotes independent learning and collaboration with
experts. Access to the internet also is necessary to use the technology. So, it is
imperative for a teacher to learn and use technology in teaching no matter how old they
are in the system especially the traditional teachers is no excuse since learners usually
use internet and other technologies everywhere.
Also it has shown articles there by which a teacher must possess and follow and
it is clearly stated and explained that an eligible professional must be a board passer
and have license as the first main requirement for teaching. It is also provided the code
of ethics for professional teachers their obligation and duties to the state, community,
parents, learners, co-workers etc. .etc.
Q4.

This section has provided the every rights of individuals especially children or the
learners, their freewill of choosing the course/subject they are going to take, as well as
the special rights or privileges of teaching, the rights of all school personnel, the
institution, administrators, the students in school, and the school itself.
Parents also has a huge part in the education and community. Parents, students,
teachers, school administrators, academic and non-teaching personnel have their own
duties in promoting a conducive and successful learning.
Different acts of the law, roles and responsibilities of each individual or institution
partaker is affirmative to what their action, violation and negligence has its correlated
punishments.
Have been discussed here too the educational systems basic and higher
education of the selected countries of the world.
The highlight to this is the protection of the rights of the children and of each
individual to the corresponding law.
