The systems engineering career is one that is responsible for designing, programming,
implementing and maintaining computer systems, as well as network administration where

we agree that everyone who wants to study a career in
systems engineering should have that profile.
We, students of systems engineering and cycle decided
to study this race because we saw that today the booms
of new technologies are on the agenda in the world, apart
from that because we can create those applications that can meet the needs of people which
can be easier, faster and more comfortable for those users.
It is known that in the future the technology will be more advanced, where it will be possible
to create software’s for buildings and intelligent vehicles hand in hand with programming
and software architecture since they are the most important and interesting aspects of our
career as well as the interaction of the technology and the possibility of creating new things
depending on the human needs.
According to Hurtado (2), the systems engineering career seeks to train a professional with
solid training in the natural sciences and social sciences at a basic and applied level, with
knowledge in technological aspects that allow him to analyze, understand, model and
optimize the process of taking of decisions in an organization, where the information
technology factor has an integrating task. In addition, he is a professional with a critical and
creative spirit, he exposes his ideas with clarity and eloquence, he values work as a means of
personal and social fulfillment. It is formed for team work, disciplined with habits and
competences for lifelong learning, capable of adapting to change in a global environment and
with proactive style, with an adequate command of oral and written communication, in
Spanish and other languages, with knowledge of the national and world reality, as well as the
geopolitical and natural resources of the country.
We agree, with what Hurtado writes in his book an Approach to Systems Engineering, as he
explains in detail what an engineer seeks to achieve, what can be achieved and what will
serve our creations in the future.
