Paracelis municipality is
surrounded to the west by
the municipality of Natonin,
to the south by the
municipally of Ifugao, the
province of Isabela to the
east; and the municipality
of Tabuk, kalinga to the
north. It is approximately
190 kilometers away from
the capital town of the National capital region of Manila. It was
created as a municipality named Paracale on June 16, 1962
under republic act 4388, and renamed Paracelis on June 18,
1962 under Republic Act 4738.
It has nine (9) barangays, namely; Anonat, Bacarri,
Bananao, Bantay, Bunot, Buringal, Butigue, Poblacion and
