Dear Atty. Matila,

Greetings!

I sincerely apologize for not being able to take the final exam in Taxation 1 last
December 12, 2018. A training was scheduled in Batanes with participants coming
from Barangay LGUs from December 10-14, 2018. I was part of the team that was
sent and I was tasked to be one of the speakers. Originally, the final exam was
scheduled on December 10, 2018 and our flight to Batanes was scheduled that day.
Not wanting to miss the final exams, I asked permission for my flight to be
rebooked on December 11th however the exam did not push through. After that, I
could no longer ask for any extension and had to fly to Batanes the following day.

I acknowledge that there is no valid excuse for not taking the exam as it was made
very clear during the start of the semester that any excuse pertaining to work will
not be entertained. Still, I am hoping for your kind consideration Sir.
