In the era of digitisation, technology and knowledge have taken centre stage in national and
international debates. At the same time, ICT has become an integral part of nearly all sectors and
segments especially linked to the education landscape. Be it teaching, learning and assessment,
ICT is crafting the role of future education in India.

Recognising the importance of digital literacy in rural India, MHRD came up with program for
providing computer education in govt school In RAJSTHAN, with help of both central and state
governments, but due to lack of infrastructure the project failed miserably but MOINEE
Foundation came up as saviour of the project to achieve the goal of ICT in government schools.

Through the help of Internet connectivity computer education was started in few schools but due
to lack of network connectivity in most govt schools and also there were misuse of internet by
the students. So need was to come up with other solution which should be in controlled way and
offline version was started for assessment purpose for the students named as PROJECT
UTKARSH CORE,.

Under this project E- GYAN Kendra was started in SUMEL village, of Jhalwar district
(RAJSTHAN) whole village was equipped with WIFI, Antennas. In a small room of Gram
Panchayat office a small server was created and machine was kept which was too handy and
approx half the size of of shoe box. Diffferent offline contents were available to them which
helped students in Learning.

For its commendable work MOINEE FOUNDATION was selected for PM INNOVATION
AWARD.

Collector of DANTEWADA district of Chattishgarh, was impressed with this initiative. He was
to run similar program in his district too. So the foundation came up with ( E-MITAN) program.
E- servers were created in 124 gram panchayat of that district and contents were made available.
It was named as community library which could be accessed by them through there Mobile. It

should be noted that foundation worked efficiently in that place where even govt Institutions
feared working for people because of its history of Naxalism, but the Foundation made it
possible.

IDEA, company was impressed with this innovation and under the aegis of its CSR Program.
Moinee foundation and IDEA started working for this program in vast level.

Now smaller and lite version of contents needed to be created so that it could be accessible at
large. E- VIDYA School In a Box program was launched, computer labs in school were
provided and contents were made available.

E- Vidya, this Multiyear program started as a Pilot in 12 Schools of UDAIPUR district, has
