Real time scenario

 Client purchases the license from the SF. SF will provide them the unique company ID /
Customer ID.
 SF has got multiple data centers and the customer data is very well stored with all the security
fire walls.
 Any project will have 3 instances – which is recommended- Development, Test and Production
 Get the instances ID’s from the client and then write an email for the approval
 Some clients who can afford will have 4 instances Development, Test, Quality and Production
 Consultant name would be my name and I also need to provide my Email ID
 Company email address will be provisioning ID
 If you have certification it is recommended to attach the certification in the initial mail ID
 Then the client approves the mail and gives a go-ahead to implement the SF
 If you are registering with the partner company, you need to register in partner edge
 Then you will be provided with S id
 Through S user we will get the access to the partner edge
 Then you need to login into HCM Cloud Operations Portal
 In the HCM Cloud Operation Tool Screen, you have 4 tabs – Operations Requests, Reference
URL’s, Demo Instance Request tool and Support
 You need to click on Operation Request, you see request form and request status
 Click on the request form, then there is Bizx Provisioning Account Mapping Requests, you can
see Customer Instance Access Request. Click on it
 Now you can see the page called Customer Instance Access Request (CAR)
 Next, we need to select the module the client has purchased
 Mention the consultant name and email address
 We need to attach the email approval attachment and SF Certificate attachment
 Under Operations Requests – You see request status and you can check the status here
 An email notification also will be sent
 Within 1 or 2 working days, request will be closed
 Demo Instance request tool is provided by partner employer
 Once we login into the provisioning we need to do the preliminary settings
 Click on company settings in the provisioning page
 Go to language pack – For eg: if the client has presence in more than 10 countries, having the
employees speaking in more than 10 different languages, in that case – we can make sure that
system appears in their own language and enable the language pack, once you select here it will
have impact in the instance
 Now go to employee central features
 Most of the times, standard settings come in the standard feature itself so don’t have to enable.
 Enable only if the client wants to do it or if you feel that something has been missed out you can
enable it

Setting Basic Options


Creating Super Admin
To create super admin, come to the end of the provisioning screen, you can find an option in the
right called create Admin, you will find the following boxes

Admin Username –
Admin Password –
Admin First Name –
Admin Last Name –
Admin Email –

 To login into the instance we need to create super admin. Without super admin access we will
not be able to login into the Instance.

 Development Instance is only meant for the Consultants. Development instance is only to
configure and Test.

 Development instance is then moved to test Instance. In the test instance you create user id to
the client. In the quality instance, UAT testing or regression testing is been done. We cannot do
any kind of testing in the production since it is live data.

 Client will only have end user permission but not the configuration permissions.
