There Will Be No Republicans in Heaven

Dearly beloved, elect of God through Jesus Christ, from before the
foundation of the world, greetings.

I was given this title to use because it will get attention but this
isn’t really about Republicans or any other political party. Political
parties can’t prevent what is coming nor do they care to try. They
are too busy serving special interests not humanity. No, this
message is about the fallen state of Christianity in America and the
world. The church is no longer the Body of Christ, but has been
sold into slavery to the world. But there is a remnant not yet seen,
the true Body of Christ, and they are the ones I’m writing to.

As Paul wrote the Thessalonians, ”For neither at any time used

we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloak of covetousness,
God is witness”, and neither will I.

Read 2nd Timothy 3:1-9

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters,

proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers,

incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than

lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from

such turn away.

1
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive
silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the

truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also

resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the
faith.

9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest
unto all men, as theirs also was.

But isn’t that exactly what man wants today??? Just like the
message that Paul gave Timothy in 2nd Timothy 4: 3-4, it says,

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;
but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers,
having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be
turned unto fables.

Let’s start by making one thing crystal clear. God loved us so much
that he gave His only begotten Son as sacrifice so we could live an
abundant life now and eternally with Jesus in His kingdom. Satan,
along with the help of men, has disregarded this and in fact has
endeavored to make this gift of God an extremely heavy burden to
follow, or on the other extreme, a fairy tale, sufficient to make us
feel good but with the understanding that it’s not real. The whole
purpose of this letter is to alert Christians that we have gotten off
track and exhort them to seek Jesus and Him alone for the answers
that we need to please Him. The time is truly short and our
redemption is at hand. Men of God more than ever must draw
close to our redeemer and be ready to fulfill His purpose in our

2
lives. It’s time to awake from the slumber of religion that has been
on us for so long and convinced us that friendship with the world is
ok. This letter is not intended to be an indictment or a
condemnation of anyone. You can believe that because in many
ways, I’m as guilty as anyone for the errors that I’m addressing
here. This is just a statement of truth, “You shall know the truth
and the truth shall set you free.” This information at times may
sound harsh and in some ways it is, but it must have sounded harsh
when Jesus told the Church of the Laodiceans that because they
were not hot or cold, he would spew them out.

Also read what James 4:4-10 says.

4 You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the
world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of
the world becomes an enemy of God.

5 Or do you think Scripture says without reason that the spirit he

caused to live in us envies intensely?

6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

"God opposes the proud
but gives grace to the humble."

7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee
from you.

8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your
hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

9 Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and

your joy to gloom.

10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

3
Pretty harsh, wouldn’t you agree? The Apostles said this in hopes
that people would repent and be saved and not lost. That is my
intent as well. Read Ephesians 4: 13-20.

13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the
Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of
the fullness of Christ.

14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the

waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by
the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.

15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up

into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.

16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every
supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each
part does its work.

17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no
longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.

18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated

from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them
due to the hardening of their hearts.

19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over

to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a
continual lust for more.

20 You, however, did not come to know Christ that way.

And again read what Hebrews says.

4
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than
any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul
and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but
all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom
we have to do.

Christians ignorantly entertain evil everyday because of delusion.

The world leads us to believe that the evil we should be concerned
with is evil as defined by the so called moral majority. Things like
Satanists, drug dealers, murderers and other heinous things that are
easy to identify. But the most evil things are harder to see because
they are hidden behind a veil of religion and false righteousness.
This evil uses God and Jesus to deceive people while furthering the
works of Satan or that of their own evil hearts of unbelief, and
there is a difference. This is not a new phenomenon look at the
Sadducees and Pharisees. In the end, they delivered Jesus to the
Gentiles to murder Him so they could continue their wicked ways.
This time, the religious leaders of the world will again join with
the ranks of unbelievers to help usher in and support the anti-
Christ. It’s already happening. I was recently in a Christian Family
Book Store and as I perused the aisle looking for a book, “Ever
Increasing Faith”, I was shocked to see a book titled, “The Gospel
According To Oprah”. At first I was dismayed but realized that the
store was full of books written by unbelievers. After all it’s a book
sales business, nothing more.

This letter may not be of interest to some folks. Below is a list.

If you are a non-Christian Jew and have organized a so called

Christian operation to get Christians to financially support non-
Christian Jews, this is not for you. The Jews are the chosen people
of God, through which the promises of God were fulfilled and are
being fulfilled today. The Jews were the people through which

5
Jesus came. The Jews were the people that were cut from the tree
of God so the Gentiles could be grafted in and after the times of the
Gentles are fulfilled, the Jews will be grafted back in. The Jews
have paid a great price so the Gentiles could know God. In fact the
Gentiles are being used by God to make the Jews jealous for God.
Jews who have converted to Christianity should be supported and
embraced as family by Christian believers. We, as adopted Jews,
should always lift our Jewish brothers in prayer, requesting God to
restore them to Himself.

If you are a businessman that joined a large church to gain a

customer base, not for you.

If you are a politician that gives lip service to Christianity to

further your campaign or career, not for you.

If you attend the same church or same kind of church because it’s
the same as your parents attended, but have never experienced a
rebirth in Christ, not for you

If you support a church that allows or promotes discrimination

based on race, gender, or ethnicity, not for you.

If you support a church that allows or promotes homosexual and

lesbian lifestyles, not for you. To clarify, God loves all men and
women the same. There is no favoritism as God is love and there is
no variance in Him. But the lifestyles are another issue. In this
present time a call is going out to embrace gay, lesbian, trans-
sexual and bi-sexual lifestyles. Don’t give in to this evil plan to
turn the truth of God into a lie. Men that lay with men and women
that lay with women are an abomination to God and they will not
inherit eternal life if they choose to do such things. Read Leviticus
18:22, Romans 2:27-32, and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. The same goes
for adulterers, thieves, liars, backbiters, slanderers, gossips,
manslayers and everything else that’s contrary to the word of God.

6
If you choose a life contrary to the doctrine of God, it’s all the
same in the end, separation from God!!!

Some Christians will be persecuted by their employers or

governments over this issue but rejoice when you are. It will be our
privilege to speak out for Jesus on this issue as well as many others
during these last days. Never be ashamed of or compromise the
Word of God, but speak the truth in love and Jesus will be
glorified. It is written, “Let the nations rage, it is God that makes
them rise and fall.” Wicked men that deny God think that they are
in a position to force people to deny Jesus but they couldn’t be
more wrong. They are going to experience a paradigm shift beyond
their wildest imagination.

If you support a church that allows or even promotes that women

are to be used, abused or manipulated, not for you.

If you support a church that allows or promotes women to have

authority over men, not for you. It is written by Paul that women
are not permitted to speak in the church and it was not allowed that
a woman should have authority over the man.

If you support a church that mingles the Jewish Law with Grace so
the parishioners can be justified by works, not for you.

If you are a controlling pastor afraid to let the Holy Spirit rule your
services and keep your people under a heavy hand, you are not
feeding Jesus’ sheep and this is not for you.

This letter is also not for or about those that do not believe in
Jesus, but about deceived Christians, that after conversion, they
have been drawn into the ways of the world. Believers that have
been deceived into believing that the world can be saved by
politics and wars. People that have been deceived by the religious
leaders, so called, that have sold themselves out for the riches of

7
this world and so seek to lead others in the way of Baal to increase
their own wealth. So if you are born again, but not yet baptized
with the Holy Spirit as witnessed in the Acts of the Apostles, make
that your first priority as you will never really understand the Word
of God without it. If you are born again and Spirit filled, use this as
a guide for self examination. The purpose of this writing is to shout
a warning to all Christians. Read 2 Corinthians 6:17.

Let’s be clear, people in America want religions that are like

sweaters, put one on and cover up, but nothing on the inside has to
change. They can keep their hate, envy, gossip, backbiting, lust,
fear, homosexuality and any other deed of the flesh they embrace.
They can profess salvation and boast about their self righteousness
and in secret, continue to live rebellious lives apart from Jesus. To
date, it's working well for Americans as well as those in other
countries. They, profess Godliness but deny the power there of.
That's why so many "Christians", can confess God and still support
tolerance for everything from abortion, to teen sex, homosexuality,
and killing wars for oil. Those that deny Jesus completely are no
worse off than these people. It appears to be a very common belief
that people get born again and think that’s it, when in fact, that’s
just the beginning. I’m speaking of people that really get born
again. One group has a mantra that says, “Once saved always
saved”, and truly believes it. There are many Christian sects that
follow similar false teachings. How do these teachings flourish?
Because most Christians don’t ever take the time to read the
covenant that God gave us. They are content to let someone else
read it and tell them what it says and what it means. And they, just
like King Saul never know Jesus through a personal relationship.
Read how King Saul was going to battle and wondered how the
war would go. Ordinarily he would go to Samuel the priest and
request, “Ask your God, how will the battle end?”, and Samuel
would tell him. In this particular instance, Samuel had died and
Saul, adding to his sins, went through a medium to summon
Samuel. The point being was the King of Israel didn’t know God
on his own, and referred to Him as Samuel’s God. Many Christians

8
are in the same condition today and count on the pastor or priest to
stand in their place before God. And many pastor’s and priests are
more than willing to do this because they then have control over
these believers. That’s good for their business. The problem is that
unlike Samuel the priest, these modern pastors and priests are
willing to do this but don’t know God either, for if they did, they
would lead the believer directly to the throne and then get out of
the way. This is why after big rallies and revivals, most converts
fall away and many that hang on become lukewarm at best. The
leaders of these events glory in all of the conversions but then
leave town before investing the time to see roots grown. Very few
converts are inspired enough to go on their journey alone and fail
to read and search the Covenant to get to know the one that saved
them. Most are too busy with other activities, lazy, or in some
cases too afraid to see what the Covenant holds for us. No matter
what the excuse is, many people are deceived and without
leadership, and never know the Covenant. There are many, many
examples of people being deceived in the name of Jesus. James
Jones always comes to mind as a worse case scenario but so do
many prominent religions that are with us today. They teach people
to emulate the Jews or earn their way to heaven, or fool people into
believing that they can get into heaven by some mythical back
door. And there are many more religious scams that people buy
into because they never took the time to see what God’s word
actually says. We shall reap what we sow if we neglect our
obligation to know the Word of The Living God through Jesus.
Read the parable of the sower of seeds. But know this, men choose
to believe what they want to believe. Even after being touched by
Jesus they will often read the scriptures and pick out the things that
they like and disregard the rest. One man that couldn’t believe that
speaking in tongues was for him went about teaching others the
same thing saying that tongues wasn’t for today as well as denying
the other miraculous gifts. Where in the Bible does it say that??? It
doesn’t. It’s just one example of men twisting the Word of God to
suit what they WANT to believe. Another group states that Jesus
never drank wine. How ridiculous. But needless to say, for the sake

9
of belonging to the club, countless others consent to the lie and go
along. What is most interesting about this issue is that after men
deny God’s Word and bad things happen in their lives or the lives
of loved ones, the same people blame God for their misfortune and
ask, “How could God let this happen?” Bad things happen when
we stray from God’s truth and manipulate His Word to fit our
chosen lives.

The information in this letter may not help the people listed above.
Those people are damned to eternal separation from Jesus unless
they repent and give themselves to Jesus. Even though they may sit
in Christian churches, they are still numbered with the unbelievers
of the world. It is written, “Be not deceived, God is not mocked.
What so ever a man shall sow, the same shall he also reap.” You
can fool most men all day long but you will never fool God. It may
be that you may support these churches because you are ignorant
of what the Word of God says. If so, this letter IS FOR YOU!!!
Are you born again and in a church that doesn’t believe that
tongues, miraculous healings, casting out demons, and even talking
to and hearing God is not for today? This is typically a church that
has a pastor that keeps everything under his sole control to make
sure the Spirit remains quenched. Please leave and find a better
church that believes in being Spirit filled with all His gifts and
begin to grow in your knowledge of Him. Are you born again and
Spirit filled and in the same kind of church and have you
compromised what you know is true just so you could be accepted
there? Justifying your compromise by telling yourself that God has
placed you there to teach them? Please repent of your falsehood
and find a church that is a real representation of Christ. Are you
born again and Spirit filled and belong to a church where they
preach you must speak in tongues to be saved? You are wrong!
That philosophy is an error. It is likely that in this church people
are given to familiar spirits and soulish anointing. From time to
time you might witness the members barking like dogs, laughing
uncontrollably, rolling around on the floor, or handling snakes to

10
prove their spirituality. I question your salvation and Spirit infilling
experience if you have been at this practice for any length of time.
Anyone that has met the Lord and been Spirit filled won’t be
fooled by this activity very long and would have left this church
right away. To everyone, find a church that believes in being filled
with the Holy Spirit with His gifts. (Read Mark 16:16-18 and the
Acts of the Apostles) A church that preaches God’s word in its
entirety. (If a church spends most of it’s time in the Old Testament,
it’s not really seeking Jesus rather it’s trying to live by some by-
laws) Find a church that holds its members accountable for the
way they live. Because they love each other enough to be
concerned when they see a brother or sister error from the truth and
are brave enough to confront them about the error. Then visit the
church on prayer night, if they have one. If the church is strong in
Christ, the prayer night will be attended by most of the members of
the church. If the church is weak in Christ or playing games about
it, you will probably only find a few old folks whose hearts are for
God and are praying to cover the church or more likely you will
find people that have nothing better to do in attendance. They
won’t be praying much but rather will spend time in fellowship
with whoever else shows up. It’s likely that the pastor will be
doing most of what prayer there is so he can maintain the course he
wants to follow. The church where you belong may not be an
established church but a body of believers that meet in each others
homes. That OK but don’t misunderstand, being where you belong
is your responsibility. If the virtues I just described are not in your
church, why are you? I am not advocating that you don’t belong to
the Body of Christ because to achieve anything meaningful for
Him, you must be. To help the Body, you must be in an active
relationship with Jesus. If you can’t walk with Him alone, then the
Body will just be a crutch for you because even though you are in
the Body you are apart from Him. And some will say that the Body
is a crutch for some and I agree. From time to time we all need
shoring up, me as much as anyone. I’m not referring to those that
need occasional help, I’m referring to those that have never
committed to Christ that are just hiding out in the body. It’s no

11
different than a sports team. Occasionally a player gets hurt but the
team doesn’t drop them but in fact keeps them on the roster and
carries them till they recover. But if a player comes and goes as
they please, skipping practice or disregards the coaches
instructions, the team will, in fact, drop that player. However, in
the real world, it’s the Body of Jesus that will usher in His return
by collectively doing His will. You are required to be in The Body
of Christ and that’s not just any church that you are comfortable in.
The Body will challenge you and stretch you and facilitate
opportunities for you to grow in, and yes, sacrifice in. The Body
will not give you a comfortable place to retreat into your own
righteousness because the Body will operate in the Spirit and will
discern the hearts of its members. The purpose of the Body is to
foster growth in Jesus to fulfill His will and prepare us to reign
with Him. Anything short of that and we miss the true joy He has
planned for us. Many are finding the Body of Christ in home
churches where people come together and serve God by caring for
each other without the financial pitfalls that the traditional church
has fallen into and in my opinion, that’s great.

Keep in mind that this information is not intended to make you feel
good about yourself. There are thousands of authors making huge
dollars from millions of books that are written for that purpose.
Quite the contrary, I hope this letter will convict you of your
apathy and even anger you enough to read God’s Word to prove or
disprove what I’m saying. And when you read God’s Word, you
will be convicted. Actually, that’s why a lot of people don’t read
the word because you can’t read it without being humbled and
becoming aware of areas in your life that need God’s grace, mercy
and restoration to Him. Men say they don’t read the Bible because
when they do, they don’t understand it or they say, “It’s open to
interpretations.” Actually it’s very understandable to men that truly
want God’s will for their lives. Those that don’t want to hear God’s
Word will say they don’t understand it because they don’t want to
understand it. They have read enough to know this, God’s Word is
like a two edged sword that will cut to your heart and reveal your

12
innermost secrets. If you allow it to, it will draw your heart into
God’s mercy and grace and the abundant life that Jesus desires you
to have. When you read God’s Word and feel convicted about some
area of your life, rejoice! Don’t fear or pull back. Rather embrace it
and know that it is God trying to bring grace and holiness into your
life. So when you see sin in yourself, confess it and be forgiven
and cleansed. Then thank God for his mercy and love for you. First
John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins and cleanse us of all unrighteousness.”

Read 2 Peter 1:19 - 21

1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do

well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place,
until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any

private interpretation.

1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but
holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Read 2 Timothy 3:16

3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable

for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness:
3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished
unto all good works.

I don’t know about you but, “and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”,
doesn’t necessarily sound like feel good things to me. These sound
more like training issues being addressed, and training isn’t often
fun but is hard work if you want to succeed. I didn’t say it was not

13
rewarding because it is. But to reach the reward we have to work
hard, and we have to submit, and commit to the hard work.
Another reason that the Scriptures are not intended to be
individually interpreted is that when people try to do so, they only
end up twisting the Word to suit their own agenda and make them
say what they want to hear.

Read 2 Peter 3:16, “ As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of

these things; in which are some things hard to be understood,
which they that are unlearned and unstable twist as they do also the
other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”
.
If you can’t or won’t submit and commit to knowing God’s word,
and accepting it at face value and walk in it, you will not see the
rewards and they are tremendous. It is written, “Eye hath not seen,
nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things
which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Also, have you
heard that it’s written that faith cometh by hearing and hearing
cometh by the Word of God? How important is faith? Read
Hebrews starting at 11:6, ”And without faith it is impossible to
please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that
he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

We will speak more about faith and the topic of healing later.

What defines you? Is it your job, your family, your sports team,
your politics? Are you a Republican, Democrat, Teamster,
Methodist, Baptist, member at the Moose Lodge? What? When
people ask and you tell others who you are, what you represent, or
what’s important in your life, how do you answer? If anything
defines you other than your relationship with Jesus, you will miss
eternity. “Where your treasure is, is where your heart is.” If, when
you share with people who you are, and what you are passionate

14
about, you don’t testify for Jesus, you are falling short of your
assignment from Him.

Since Adam fell and gave his authority to Satan, the world has
been a lie but even more so now in the last days. Everything here is
a lie or a distortion of the truth except the Word of Jesus Christ!!!
The Bible says that in the last days will come great delusion and
this has never been more evident than today. Better living through
chemistry, the American dream, politicians, salespeople, court
systems, and worst of all, churches, all lying nonstop to gain the
wealth of their parishioners and customers. Doesn't it seem odd
that we live in a day where all men only aspire to get more wealth?
Everything is measured by how much money a person can amass.
We constantly proclaim the majesty of education but the whole
purpose of the education, so called, is to make money. How noble.
And Christians are right on board even though the education that
they worship denies the One they say they believe in. How can this
be? Everything here is a lie rather medicine, none of which a
Christian needs, beauty aids, TV, sports, it's all here to keep our
eye off Jesus, and it's working. Churches everywhere are emulating
everything of the world. Church sports teams that fight over the
game, music that sounds just like the world's rock and roll, except
the words, if you can hear them. Along with priests and pastors
preaching everything from politics to insurance to racism all in the
name of Jesus, a person they never knew. Why? Money! They have
even elected to reject the teachings on the evil of loving money,
and they never tell the people that you can't serve God and money
and certainly they overlook the scripture that says, “Godliness with
contentment is great gain”. They feel compelled to give the people
what people want otherwise they fear losing people from the roster
and there goes the income. Every Christian in the world today
needs to repent in sackcloth and ashes and beg God for his mercy
for what the Churches have done and are doing. The churches are
full of darkness, mental and physical sickness, adulteries, lying,
stealing, greed and every evil work. Churches even promote books

15
that say you’re ok, I’m ok, go ahead, accept every lifestyle and
every religion, don’t be afraid. Do what makes you feel good. One
man in the Bible actually asked Jesus, “What is truth?” Like us he
was only trying to justify what he was about to do. Jesus says, “I
am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but
by Me.” Know that God loves you completely and you may
actually believe in God but only Jesus Christ can save you! Every
other way is false. It must be said that even though millions of
Christians choose to practice pagan ways, Christianity does not
allow for ceremony, rituals, praying to angels or for that matter,
dead people. Understand, artifacts, or pictures of Jesus, nor any
other physical thing that represents God or provides any
justification for us is accepted by God. If your religion endeavors
to imitate segments of the Jewish law like Adventists do, and
believe it will get you to Heaven, you are being deceived! All we
have is faith in an invisible God through a risen Jesus Christ. Jesus
asked, “Will I find faith when I return?” Read Col 2:-23

2:6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to

live in him,

2:7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you

were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and
deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the
basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

2:9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,

2:10 and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head
over every power and authority.

2:11 In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the
sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men
but with the circumcision done by Christ,

16
2:12 having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him
through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the
dead.

2:13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision
of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave
us all our sins,

2:14 having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that
was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away,
nailing it to the cross.
2:15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a
public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

2:16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or
drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon
celebration or a Sabbath day.

2:17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the
reality, however, is found in Christ.

2:18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the
worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes
into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind
puffs him up with idle notions.

2:19 He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole
body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews,
grows as God causes it to grow.

2:20 Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this
world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its
rules:

2:21 "Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!"?

17
2:22 These are all destined to perish with use, because they are
based on human commands and teachings.

2:23 Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with

their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh
treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining
sensual indulgence.

Someone once said that a wise man doesn’t know all the answers
but does know the right questions. It’s past time for Christians to
ask themselves some very tough questions.

Ask yourself, why are so many Christians deceived? It’s because,

“they received not a love of the truth.”, and as is also written, they
are deceived by their own lusts. There are a great number of people
that believe in God and confess Jesus but are continually involved
in trying to have as much of this world as possible. This alone
creates great conflict. It is written, “That if the love of the world is
in you, then the love of God is not.” How much turmoil do you
think this causes in our souls? Much in every way until we put to
silence the voice of the world that calls us and begin to listen to
that still small voice from God that continually speaks to us about
our walk with Jesus. It will be one or the other for again, “we
cannot serve God AND mammon.”

This ties directly into Christians that have fallen into celebrity
worship along with the unbelieving world. We place people on
pedestals and make them millionaires just because that can sing,
dance, play sports or preach really well. People including
Christians spend their hard earned dollars just to be entertained and
escape their own reality and try to live vicariously through their
idols. Money that, if you have excess, could be better spent in

18
service to Christ. And I’m not talking of bigger churches or
parking lots or angelic shrines or salaries that allow Church
employees to live far better than their flock. I’m talking about
equalization in the body of Christ. To our shame there are really
rich people in our body along with really poor ones. And don’t use
the excuse about some people are poor because they are lazy. I’m
talking about hard working brothers and sisters that have greater
financial burdens. Don’t you know that God places us in the body
to prove us? Perhaps He places the less fortunate people among us
to see what we will do. Members of the flock that have been
abundantly blessed hold back the blessings while fulfilling their
own worldly lusts trying to acquire every material thing they can.
And church leaders pretend not to see this because they don’t want
to offend the wealthy ones and chance that they may leave. Read
the Acts of the Apostles or read what 2 Corinthians 8:9-15 says
about giving.

8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though
he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through
his poverty might become rich.

8:10 I give a judgment in this: for this is expedient for you, who
were the first to start a year ago, not only to do, but also to be
willing.

8:11 But now complete the doing also, that as there was the
readiness to be willing, so there may be the completion also out of
your ability.

8:12 For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to

what you have, not according to what you don't have.

8:13 For this is not that others may be eased and you distressed,

19
8:14 but for equality. Your abundance at this present time supplies
their lack, that their abundance also may become a supply for your
lack; that there may be equality.

8:15 As it is written, "He who gathered much had nothing left

over, and he who gathered little had no lack."

However, if you are a church going Republican, you won’t get it.
You will need to read Mark 10:25, “It is easier for a camel to pass
through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter to into
Heaven.” If a pastor preached this, rich Christians would possibly
walkout or justify themselves by saying wealth is relative, “I’m not
really rich compared to really rich people.” Very sad indeed. But to
the honest hearted Christian, it is written, “If we have food and
raiment let us be therewith content.” And it is also written, “Some
think that gain is Godliness but Godliness with contentment is
great gain.”

Since we are asking tough questions, when were Christians

deceived into believing that education was some kind of deity,
believing that education, so called, held the answers to man’s
problems? For all of man’s great education, things are no better
today that they were 6 thousand years ago. Sure some men have
used education to manipulate people and have amassed great
wealth for themselves and yes we have more luxuries. These
luxuries do allow us more leisure time to pursue pleasurable
interests like TV, video games, watching or playing sports. Of
course there is always gambling or travel, just to mention a few
things that people love more than God. But what about mankind as
a whole? Racism and sexism, we still have that. Extreme poverty
and hunger, yes we still have that. Violent crime against
individuals and humanity as a whole, yes we still have that too.
Resources being abused by mankind, yes we still have that. Planet
being polluted and destroyed by industry barons, hey, educated

20
men specifically created this one. Education isn’t a god as some
would have you believe. In fact deceived men have almost
required education to be worshipped while the same education
denounces or denies the Living God altogether and worldly
Christians go right along with it touting the virtue of education as
being the answer to man’s problems rather than announcing that
man’s sinful nature is the problem and only repentance and
salvation can resolve a man’s problems. Why? Because education
only serves man’s greed for money and for the love of money, men
will deny the truth of God and follow a lie. Whatever really good
that education could bring is lost because men lack the integrity to
make it happen. By the actions of those in control of government
revenue, they confirm what I am saying. Is education really the
servant of mankind? If it is then why don’t all people in America
have access to the best educational opportunities? Why do the
wealthy get the best schools and educators while the poor get
squat? Is it because we really want to maintain the class
distinction? I think that’s it, as I once heard a politician state that if
we all had the same educational opportunities and success, who
would haul the trash? Not to mention, if education is really so
important, why do educators have to struggle with governments to
get paid a decent wage. So much so that they have to organize
unions to fight for them. Isn’t this a message telling teachers how
unimportant they really are to our society? Education without
Godly wisdom is Satan’s tail at best.

Another lie of education and those that love it is the medical

profession. Let me start by saying that the medical profession is a
blessing from God to the unbeliever. But why believers put their
trust in medicine is beyond me. How can we say that we believe
that God created everything including human beings and can raise
the dead, now, and at the resurrection, but can’t have faith to let
God alone heal them without the help of men? I have heard every
excuse from, “I’m being afflicted like Job”, to, “He is trying my
faith to see if I’ll endure”, “or “I’m not worthy to be healed.” If
that’s true, then why are you trying to get healed at all? If God isn’t

21
willing to heal you, why are you then running to a man for help?
The truth is that our faith is weak and we are either afraid to step
out in faith or too lazy or too impatient to wait on God or just plain
afraid that God won’t come through. Or we are not willing to go
before the living God, and bear our soul, see the sin we committed
that brought on the problem and seek forgiveness and cleansing
and the subsequent healing!!! Read the Gospels, this is how it
works. One account of a woman that had an issue of blood for
many years and SUFFERED at the hands of many physicians and
was made worse off not better. Then she touched the hem of Jesus’
garment and was immediately healed! Don’t think that this was
easy for her. Jesus was on the move and being thronged by a huge
number of people. She, in her weakened state had to struggle
mightily to get to him but was willing to do whatever it took to
reach him. Her faith was strong because she realized that doctors
couldn’t help her, in her heart she also knew that if she could only
touch the hem of his garment, she would be made whole. I once
had a sister tell a story of her affliction from a serious disease.
When she was first diagnosed, she asked herself and God what she
had done to deserve this. She determined that she hadn’t done
anything wrong and so justified herself and said that God told her
to go to the doctor. This was also easier to do than seeking God for
His healing. Later, she met another person that had the same
disease and was able to share her experience and help them
through the ordeal. She then surmised that God had afflicted her so
that she could help others by sharing her experience. Interestingly
the sister never mentioned leading this person to salvation and so
even if healed by the doctors would only be subject to some other
disease or sickness. This is where we, as Christians, fall short. We
are not willing to fast and pray or to stand naked before God and
be examined and have our sins exposed, or we have not been
properly trained by those who are supposed to feed His sheep.
Unfortunately, the church leaders are not able to teach something
they don’t believe in themselves. Read the book of James. It
basically says that if we are afflicted, call the church elders and get
anointed with oil and have them pray for you and YOU WILL BE

22
HEALED. And IF YOU HAVE SINNED, IT WILL BE
FORGIVEN!!! No maybe or might be, you will be healed and
forgiven if you have sinned. It’s a promise that God cannot break.
You just have to believe it. One man asked Jesus to help his
unbelief and Jesus did. So, if that’s an issue, take that to him as
well. There is nothing that Jesus can’t do. As for the sin issue, it’s
written that sickness and death are the wages of sin. Paul also
wrote in 1 Corinthians 11:27 that many were sick and slept among
them because they took Communion unrighteously, not discerning
the body and blood of Jesus. That happens somewhere every
Saturday or Sunday. Not withstanding that Jesus knew that we
would make mistakes like this and that’s why God gave us this
provision. If you occasionally get a cold or even the flu, it’s no big
deal and I wouldn’t get too worked up about it. But if you are
constantly being attacked by sickness or something seriously
wrong comes into your life, go to Jesus, open your heart and see
what has transpired to allow Satan’s attack on you. Seek Jesus and
he will deliver you and cleanse you of all unrighteousness. This
will fulfill another scripture that says, “I came that they would
have abundant life now and eternal life to come”. If you are always
afflicted, I don’t see that as an abundant life and I doubt if any
unbelievers would either. And they are watching. And if you say
you have no sin, you deceive yourself. Another thing to think about
when you put your trust in man is this, Jeremiah 17 says, “Blessed
is every man that trusts in God, cursed is every man that trusts in
man”.

I truly am amazed that Christians contribute so much to the

medical world. Because of fear, drug companies have grown into a
trillion dollar a year industry and for the most part only make drugs
that help people live with their affliction. I mean really, what
incentive do they actually have to find cures when the real money
is in sickness management. Would they lie to us about curing
cancer, or diabetes, or AIDS? You better believe they would. There
are only three ways to get money. Work and earn it, invest money
to get more money or get someone to give the money to you. The

23
easiest is get people to give it to you and because of fear, people
give till it hurts. I can understand the unbeliever but the Christian
has a better way available to them. Not to mention that millions of
Christians make rich those of the psychology and psychiatry
profession. Instead of going to Jesus, you go to another man, pay
him and get his advice. Some pastors actually encourage this in the
church. Maybe it’s because a great number of pastors hold degrees
in these fields. Heck, for all I know they may get referral dollars
from their friends that are psychologists and psychiatrists for
sending them patients. Christians should be the most mentally
healthy people on the face of the entire planet. There is nothing
that we can’t take to the throne of God and get fixed. We have
brothers and sisters to talk and share with and if need be there are
members in the body that are gifted that can intercede for us bring
deliverance for any problem, mental or physical. But again, this is
an area not being taught by church leaders that don’t believe it
themselves. Look at the situation yourself. We have been
brainwashed for many years by marketers for drug companies and
the propaganda being pushed has increased a thousand percent in
recent years. If you spend any time at all watching TV or listening
to radio or read any number of publications, you will be
bombarded with drug ads. Everything from Botox to Rogain, to
Celebrex, to Viagra. Pills to make you young, lose weight
miraculously, sleep better or just have a better outlook on life.
Most of which won’t do a darn thing to improve your life. And the
drug companies know it but will deceive us in the twinkle of an
eye if it will get us on board. Think about it for a moment, and
look around you. How many people do you know that are on some
kind of maintenance drug? Not just for illness but also vitamins,
hair growth, better complexions, you name it. If every person in
America takes 1 pill a day and most do, and the average pill costs
$1.00 each, that’s a lot of money being literally poured down a
drain. All that medication, mans synthetic concoctions going into
our water supply and because it is a synthetic compound, the
ground or our water treatment plants can’t clean it from the water
so we are all being slowly poisoned by other people’s medications.

24
Not good. It’s not sin per say to go to a doctor or take medicine.
But if you do so without first going to God, it’s a dangerous
gamble at best. If it’s not of faith it is sin. Read Hebrews 11
starting at verse 24.

11:24 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known

as the son of Pharaoh's daughter.

11:25 He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God

rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time.
11:26 He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater
value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to
his reward.

A good example of a man’s sin catching up to him is David, the

apple of God’s eye. Yes as you know if you have read the Word,
David sinned, many times, yet was blessed of God because David’s
heart was with God and when God revealed his sin, David
repented, cried out to the God that he loved and that loved him
back. God healed David and David praised God, just like God
planned it to be. Read Psalms 51.

1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness:

according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my
transgressions.
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my
sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before
me.
4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy
sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be
clear when thou judgest.

25
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother
conceive me.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden
part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall
be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou
hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit
within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy
spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with
thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be
converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my
salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy
praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou
delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a
contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

26
18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls
of Jerusalem.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,
with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer
bullocks upon thine altar.

Also Read Psalms 50:14-23

14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most
High:
15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and
thou shalt glorify me.
16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare
my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind
thee.
18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and
hast been partaker with adulterers.
19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest
thine own mother's son.
21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest
that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee,
and set them in order before thine eyes.
22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces,
and there be none to deliver.

27
23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth
his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
What else does the Word say on faith? Read Hebrews 12 also.

1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of

witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that
so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race
marked out for us.
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for
the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the
shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so
that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

4 In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point
of shedding your blood.

5 And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that

addresses you as sons:
"My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,

6 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,

and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."

7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For

what son is not disciplined by his father?

8 If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline),

then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.

28
9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and
we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the
Father of our spirits and live!

10 Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best;

but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his
holiness.

11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on,

however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those
who have been trained by it.

12 Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.

13 "Make level paths for your feet," so that the lame may not be
disabled, but rather healed.
Warning Against Refusing God

14 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy;
without holiness no one will see the Lord.

15 See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter
root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

16 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau,

who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.

17 Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this

blessing, he was rejected. He could bring about no change of mind,
though he sought the blessing with tears.

18 You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that
is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm;

19 to a trumpet blast or to such a voice speaking words that those

who heard it begged that no further word be spoken to them,

29
20 because they could not bear what was commanded: "If even an
animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned.
21 The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, "I am trembling
with fear."

22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem,

the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon
thousands of angels in joyful assembly,

23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in

heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits
of righteous men made perfect,

24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled

blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not
escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how
much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from
heaven?

26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised,
"Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens."[e]

27 The words "once more" indicate the removing of what can be

shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken
may remain.

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be

shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with
reverence and awe,

29 “for our God is a consuming fire."!!!

30
The good news is that if you yield to God’s will and seek after
Jesus according to His Word, you will succeed. Not because of
your effort but because it’s another promise from God. He said,
“Seek me diligently with your whole heart and you will find Me”
He will even give you the will and the want to seek Him if you ask
for it. Remember, He has chosen you to believe. God chose the
elect people to fill His kingdom. All things were created by Him
and for Him and he has predestinated their lives, according to
Romans. Also, what does Philippians 1:6 say?

“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a

good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Again, read in Hebrews 12:2

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for
the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the
shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
First Thessalonians 5:23-24 says,
5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray
God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless
unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 5:24Faithful is he that
calleth you, who also will do it.
2nd Thessalonians also affirms this.

2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you,
brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the
beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the
Spirit and belief of the truth:

Read Romans 8 especially the 14th verse. It refers to who is a son

of God.

31
Romans 8

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in

Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free
from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the
flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and
for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who
walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh;
but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded
is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not
subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the
Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of
Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the
Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell
in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken
your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live
after the flesh.

32
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the
Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of
God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but
ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba,
Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the
children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with
Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also
glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not
worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in
us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the
manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but
by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the
bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of
God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in
pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits
of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for
the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

33
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for
what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience
wait for it.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know
not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself
maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of
the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according
to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them
that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be
conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn
among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and
whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified,
them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who
can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all,
how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God
that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather,
that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also
maketh intercession for us.

34
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation,
or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or
sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we
are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through
him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.

In the end it comes down to this. Know Jesus, whom God sent, as
Lord and Savior. Love the Lord God above everything and
everyone else in the world, and love your neighbor as yourself and
all the will of God will be done in your life. This is not an easy
calling and will require sacrifice on our part. We will have to
become servants to all, even the neighbors that we don’t like. I
have friends that can’t get enough reading material on the end
times and books on what Heaven is like. Not to mention books on
how to understand God and their walk. They find this to be very
interesting and exciting and intellectually stimulating. It also helps
to define how others are measuring up in their spiritual walks but
alas they are failing in their servitude to their brothers and sisters
by neglecting one of our greatest gifts from God, prayer.
Unfortunately, prayer isn’t as much fun or interesting and certainly
not intellectually stimulating. It doesn’t improve your ability to
judge others and since it is mostly a private act between a person
and God, one can’t really glory in it. But in actuality it is one of the
greatest places that we can lay down our lives for our brothers and

35
sisters and at the same time draw incredibly close to Jesus and the
thrown of God!!! It is written, “The effectual fervent prayer of a
righteous man avails much power”. Most Christians do not realize
how important prayer is. They spend a ton of time in activities that
they may think God should be doing but most likely never spend
any time seeking God for what He wants them to be doing. Again
this is an error being committed because those running the
churches aren’t teaching the importance of prayer. In some cases
people don’t believe in prayer because they have prayed and didn’t
get an answer or got an answer they didn’t want and so gave it up.
Either way it’s a loss for the people of God. Is prayer important
and necessary? Absolutely! If anyone would not have needed to
pray, it would have been Jesus. He was the Son of God come down
from Heaven. He was the heir to the thrown! Yet He prayed
constantly and fervently! He was in constant communication with
the Father about everything that was going on each day and at one
point He even prayed for us! How remarkable. Read John 17, the
whole chapter and especially the 20th verse, “Neither pray I for
these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through
their word”. Prayer is the communication tool that God has given
us and we need to become familiar with its use. It is the medium
that God uses to direct our paths. Most Christians stumble around
in ignorance and only by God’s grace do we survive at all but
today we live in relatively good times. That is soon to change and I
remind you that it’s written, “As many as are led by the Spirit,
these are the sons of God.” The sons will not stumble in darkness
or ignorance but through a relationship built through prayer, God’s
Word and obedience, they will be led by God to do His will. They
will know the unction of the Holy Spirit and will be able to discern
between good and evil. If you haven’t honed your skills at this you
will be deceived. It is written, “By reason of use they have trained
their senses to discern both good and evil.” If you think this skill
just happens, you are wrong.
But prayer is also service to all mankind. We are admonished to
pray for all men, kings and paupers. Pray for peace, pray for unity

of the Spirit in the bond of peace, pray that our flight is not in
winter and these are but a few of the things that we are instructed
to pray for. Pray for the lost, pray for the saints, pray for all in
authority that we may live a peaceable life. Pray for whatever God
places in your heart to pray for. He said, “Cast all you care upon
me that I may care for you.” This is done through prayer. The last
I’ll mention is pray for the restoration of Israel.
In closing, it is written that, “Jesus learned obedience through the
things He suffered.” Walking with Jesus is simple but there will be
a price. We are in a great war and most American Christians aren’t
aware because we live a pretty good life and are comfortable for
the most part. Even when we read some book about it, it’s surreal
and we think that it’s probably not even true. We have been
desensitized our whole lives by fictional Disney stories and books
and movies like the Exorcist. I acknowledge that these seem so
different but they are very similar in their power to deceive. We are
indoctrinated that witches are not always bad and in fact can be
“good witches” sometimes like in the Wizard of Oz or the witches
of Eastwick, or most recently, Harry Potter. Trust me these types of
so called entertainment have taken their toll on all of us. Note that
in most movies when evil is actually portrayed as evil, the church
has no power to stop it. “In the last days there will come great
delusion”, its here NOW! Please, please cast off the ways and
teachings of this world and partake of the greatest gift ever given
to man, eternal life with Jesus.
Sincerely,
James Brooks
