PROJECT:

REHABILITATION OF LVP WATER TREATMENT AREA

SCOPE OF WORK NO:

AmPI 19-0034-ENG

GENERAL:
The Contractor’s scope shall cover system engineering and design, supply of all labor, materials and
consumables, equipment, technical supervision necessary to complete the project according to scope of works,
technical specifications, general terms and conditions, and other AmPI requirements.

SCOPE OF WORK / USER REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATION:

1. Mobilization and demobilization

2. Supply of labor, materials, technical supervision for the repair/ repainting LVP Water Treatment wall, floor,
ceiling.
a. Flooring
• Scraping of existing epoxy paint until reaching the mortar material with a total area of 54 sq. m.
• Preparation prior to application of polyurethane paint and Polyurethane sealant - Grinding/
sanding/ Cleaning by using vacuum cleaner, repair all cracks, gaps, build up temporary waterway.
• De-clogging of two (2) floor drain / Re-piping of floor drain under chlorinated water tank.
• Apply one full coat of Polyurethane sealant and polyurethane paint least 3mm thick. Color: same as
existing

b. Repainting of wall, ceiling, piping, electrical conduit, Boxes, and flexible hoses.
• Replace all corroded / damaged conduit and electrical boxes prior to repainting. (Pls. refer to DOLE
color coding)
• Wall and Ceiling: Two (2) full coats with Latex White Semi-Gloss. Application of epoxy putty to
holes, cracks and gaps.
• Electrical conduit: electrical boxes, utility boxes, and Junction boxes, and Fluorescent pipe hanger.
One full coat of QDE Orange.
• Support, Bracket and top surface fluorescent lamp reflector: One full coat with epoxy primer gray.
• PVC Pipe gray: Chemicals: One full coat with epoxy paint color Violet.
Water : One full coat with epoxy green
Air : One full coat with epoxy blue
Steam : One full coat with epoxy Silver
• Steel Door: Automotive primer and automotive paint by spray: color subject for approval
c. Stainless Cladding
• Repair/replace of all damaged SS cladding with in the area of WT SS 304 same thicknesses as
existing. Connect/ weld DI Tank clean steam pipeline to main pipeline (by TIG welding)

d. Removal of existing piping branch (cut and plug), Air SS pipelines ½ dia. (Formerly Pneumatic control of
Demin Plant) 3 locations, electrical wiring 3 locations previous installed at PWS III. Fix electrical wiring
above raw water tank.
e. Painting of all pipelines (as per standard color coding) provide arrow labels and system names for all
pipes
f. Chemical cleaning of City Water tank, DI Tank, and WFI Tank. (Chemicals supplied by AmP), ACF and SS
piping, Electrical Control Panel
g. Replace PRV 1” dia. NPT of ACF steam supply pipelines and fix all leaks. Brand: spirax sarco
h. Replacement of 8 pcs. Busted Lights

3. Other materials needed in this project shall be supplied by the contractor.

5. Testing and turnover
OTHERS:
1. SUBMITTALS. The Contractor shall prepare and submit methodologies and other submittals shall be verified
and approved by the Owner prior to placement of order. All materials to be use shall be reputable brands.

2. AS-BUILT PLANS & DRAWINGS. The Contractor shall be responsible for the preparation of the As-built plans,
detailed drawings and shop drawings for approval. As-built plans shall be submitted as follows: One (1) set
Mylar copy, and one (1) AutoCAD file compact disk. Electrical diagrams and other document materials
provided in this project should be confidential between contractor and Amherst Parenterals, Inc.

3. PERMITS. Contractor to secure Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) clearance from Engineering
Department. PPE’s, proper working tools/equipments needed to complete the work shall be supplied by
contractor and must be available at all times.

4. WARRANTY. The Contractor shall warrant all Works against defect without prejudice to the other
requirements imposed under this Contract. The Contractor shall provide equipment and installation
warranty and free monthly service for all equipment for a period of twelve “12” months starting from the
date of acceptance by the Owner. .

5. The contractor shall repair/replace all structures/items damage during the course of construction and will be
charge to their owned account.

6. Materials deemed necessary to complete the Works but not mentioned in the specifications, plans, and
other Contract Documents but necessary to complete the Works, shall be supplied and installed by the
Contractor without extra Cost to the Owner. Such materials shall be supplied with the highest quality
available.
7. TESTING & COMMISSIONING. Prepare and secure approval of the test procedures and be responsible for
obtaining all certificates of inspection or testing that may be required by authorities having jurisdiction over
the Project. All required manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and consumables shall be by the
