details.
 In the table, you’ll find your username and password for the exam platform
 Go to https://www.cambridgelms.org/main/p/splash
 Log in, using the provided log-in details
 Enter the Testbank Cambridge English course
 Each test component will become active 10 min before the announced start in the exam
timetable (check in the table with log-in details which test you should be doing)
 Click on Show all under the test that has been unlocked
 Once you have started the component, you cannot stop the timer – you need to do the
component within the time limit
 If you cannot start the test on the exam day or you are experiencing technical difficulties, call
the Hotline numbers (these will be displayed on your AVO Online Zone wall on the exam day,
together with the log-in details)

During the exam:

 In case of technical problems (e.g. loss of Internet connection), you need to call the Hotline
numbers
 Do not use your phone, websites or any other materials – the mock exam results will give you a
realistic idea if you are ready to register for the Cambridge Exam
 Follow the Exam timetable and try to start components as close to the announced starting times
as possible
 For the Writing paper, open a Word file and write your answer there.
 If you finish a component earlier (e.g. Reading and Use)and you want to submit your answers,
press the End Test button (DO NOT PRESS THE CLOSE BUTTON)

After each component:

 After Reading and Use of English: when you have submitted your answer (or time runs out),
press Refresh if the result is not available immediately (you may need to refresh several times)
and you’ll be able to see your score. For details, click on the button Answers, then Review
questions, then Correct answers/Show Feedback . This will give you the chance to review your
mistakes and/or get detailed feedback on the correct answers. For the Use of English paper, you
will get further feedback from your teacher in your classes.
N.B. The system shows a total percentage for the paper Reading and Use, but your teacher will
tell you separate results for the Reading component and the Use of English component.
 After Writing: you need to upload your answers to Part 1 and Part 2 in the Mock exam section in
AVO Online Zone as soon as the component has finished. (drag and drop the word files with
your answers after clicking on the Add submission button)
 After Listening: when you have submitted your answers (or time runs out), follow the same
steps as after Reading and Use to see your score and get feedback on your mistakes.
 NB The review / feedback function will no longer be available half an hour after the official end
of the Mock exam.
 Do not forget to log out from the Cambridge LMS platform after you have seen the Mock exam
feedback on the last component.
