INTRODUCTION

I am a Senior Human Resource Executive in IBIL (M) Sdn Bhd. Ever since I
graduated from my university, I have involved in Human Resource activities starting
from my first employment as Management Trainee in Pharmaniaga Berhad (UEM
Group in 2007. I built my basic in handling various Human Resource issues in
Pharmaniaga when I had undergone training in every unit (Recruitment and
Manpower Planning, Training and Development, Payroll, Compensation and
Benefits, Industrial Relation as well as Employee Relations).

After gaining my basic in Pharmaniaga, I have moved to my current employer, as


Executive in Human Resource Department at IBIL (M) Sdn. Bhd, one of the
telecommunication companies that facing a rapid growth in 2008 due to their
current huge project in ICT. Here, I have to handle all scope in Human Resource
from scratch (propose company handbook, propose new organization chart,
propose new benefit package, insurance, training package etc, as this company
does not have Human Resource personnel before my employment. This was the
great chances for me to explore and learn more in order to achieve my own goals
as HR expert. After one (1) year of service, I have been assigned to focus more on
Recruitment and Manpower Planning and now been promoted as Senior Executive,
Recruitment and Manpower Planning in my current organization.

I am keen to explore in your industry and I am able to work independently or with


just a minimum supervision. I believed my experiences in Human Resource and
education background suit with your requirement in your excellent organization.

Key Responsibility:

Recruitment

• Conduct in end to end processes of sourcing,


advertising (all media types), screening,
selecting, interview arrangement, interview
session, and prepare documents for new hires
(internal and external).

• Conduct induction program for new staff


(announcement, preparation of presentation
slides, presentation and company tour).

• Prepare documentation for new staff facilities


request.

• Agency management (discussion on agreement


and payment advise for all service rendered).

Staff movement
(contractual,probationary,transfer,promotion,redeployment,etc):

• Responsible for monitoring and updating all


contract and probationary staff using SAP,
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS), and
Microsoft Excel.

• Prepare for staff movement documentation


(letter, new agreement, proposal for promotion,

Staff resignation management:


• Prepare for all related documents (letter,
announcement, exit checklist, etc)

Manpower Planning and Organizational Design:

• Design and propose organization chart in


regards to company growth (yearly basis).

• Plan, forecast, monitor and control the overall


organization budget (quarterly or yearly basis).

• Analyze organization design on monthly basis to


ensure the effectiveness and to maintain the
level of efficiency of every group, division,
department, unit as well as sub-unit.

• Analyze and revise Job Description for every


position in the company to ensure the efficiency
and productivity is in-line with company mission
and vision.

• Involve in analyzing talent (Talent Management)


using Competency Gap Analysis to design staff
career growth.

Recruitment and Manpower Planning Report:

• Prepare and present all related report to General


Manager, Human Resource on monthly basis.

• Report consist of various analysis including


overall staff master listing, monthly manpower
growth, staff composition by level, staff
employment status, staff demographic,
manpower dashboard, critical position to be
filled, recruitment sourcing expenses, staff
turnover analysis, and action plan.

• Towards the end of every report presentation,


an action plan will be suggested for our
department as well as company improvement.

• All report is using Microsoft Office (Visio, Excel,


PowerPoint), SAP and MOSS.
Corporate Social Responsibility (contribution of Manpower
Planning Unit):

• Liaise with UniKL and UiTM for partnership in


Internship Program.

• Liaise with all local university for fresh graduates


Management Trainee Program.

Ad Hoc Project:

• Organizing Human Resource Workshop in


Langkawi for 7 days.

• Assissting company in Competency Gap Analysis


for Project with TM in Southern Region.

• Committee member for staff events (dinner,


treasure hunt, sports day, family day etc)

• Align Talent Management objectives with


corporate goals in order to provide positive

• Assist in designing sound Talent Management


strategies and business processes.

Compensation and Benefits

• Assist in monthly payroll for employees using


SAP.

• Make monthly reconciliation report on total


compensations to clarify the difference.

• Complete the final compensation and severance


allowance for leaving employees.

• Execute monthly payroll and coordinate with


Finance to ensure timely and accuracy
remittance for employees every month prior
30th.
