The Blue Star Card printer station will be moving from the Tripler
ACS to the Fort Shafter ACS on January 18. You will still be able to
get your Blue Star Card printed at the Tripler ACS until this date.
After January 18, you will need to go to the Fort Shafter ACS located
at the Fort Shafter Aloha Center, Bldg 330, Clark Road, to get your
Blue Star Card. Regular Blue Star Card registration requirements still
apply. The printer at ACS on Schofield will stay in its current location.

SUPER SATURDAY CHILDCARE
Super Saturday will be held on February 12, from 9 am – 2 pm at Petersen CDC Star Recipe of the Month:
and Schofield Barracks School Age Center. To participate in Super Saturday
Childcare, patrons must be Blue Star Card holders. Reservations may be made as
early as 30 days prior to the event. For more information on Super Saturday or to

Parents Night Out
Parent’s Night Out will be held January 8 (AMR CDC and AMR Youth Center),
and January 22 (Schofield CDC and Schofield School Age Center). For more
information on Parent’s Night Out or to make a reservation, call the Schofield
Barracks CYS Services Registration Office at 655-5314 or the AMR Registration
Office at 833-5393.

Keiki Question of the month: My children are getting to the age where they can stay
home by themselves. Are there any classes that teach them safety so that I feel more
comfortable leaving them home alone?
Answer: Yes, Army Community Service (ACS) offers a class called, Home Alone, which
teaches children ages 9-11 tips on how to stay home alone safely. This class covers fire
safety, first aid, internet safety and stranger awareness. For more information or for the
class schedule please call ACS at 655-4227 (655-4ACS).
If you have a question pertaining to care for your children you would like answered,

DIRECTIONS
1. To assemble your snowman,
melt the white candy in a bowl
according to the package
instructions,

light cocoa candy melt, add a
dot of white melted candy, then
place the Rolo on top.
