Correspondence: Dear Sujatha

In order to generate the %dc in report we need to change the default report format for
incorporating the changes. We will need SAP Crystal Reports software to edit these
template files. Alternatively we can generate the values on the SLD using datablock.
Please refer the attachment.

Please let us know for any other query.

User Reply: Dear Sir,

While displaying DC component in SLD using Datablock, the breaker dc component is

being shown based on information (rated short time withstand current & opening time)
given on CB rating Tab. It can be shown in normal Edit mode also. The dc component of
the short-circuit current calculated based on actual initial symmetrical short-circuit
current and system X/R ratio is not being displayed. Hope you understand my point of
concern. Pl. advise.

Regards,
R. Sujatha

Correspondence: Hello Sujatha

Currently we can export the report to excel sheet and manually convert the values to
output %dc component .

I will try to check with my US team today for any other alternative.

Thanks

Correspondence: Hello Sujatha,

Which calculation are you referring to IEC 61363 or IEC 60909? Can you show a screen
shot of your system or the summary?

Thank you

Correspondence: Hello Sujatha,
The rating of the breaker has the %dc component of Ib which is based on the minimum
delay time in the rating page of the breaker.

However, there is only way to see the Idc (Current in kA) results for the given bus and
with respect to min delay using the following option

1. Go to study case -> Standard page -> Check the "Report Ib vs Time Delays Based
on"
2. Run IEC device duty (not 60909) from the toolbar
3. Open short-circuit report
4. See the faulted bus and Idc values for each time delay option

Hope it helps
Thank you
Regards
Raghu
