Question:
In active voice, we start the sentence with “quien hace” or, in grammatical
terms, the subject.
What do we start with in passive voice? Why? Give the term used in the video
and the grammatical term.
Answer: The passive voice structure begins whit “Quién recibe” , and why?
Because in passive voice the object is stand out.

2. Now, we will write the object first, the subject will become the add-in
and we're going to add "by".
3. This is the trick, we are going to count how many words the verb has, in
this case the verb only has 1, so we are going to add one more in the
passive voice, we have 2 then.
4. Then in the second space we put our verb in "past participle" and in the
first space the verb "to be
The teacher explains that the passive voice is used by businessmen and people
who give speeches as a governments.

Because with the passive voice they can dissociate themselves from the actions
made by the person, so that they would not be blamed for the actions.
3. Other contexts where the passive voice is quite common are news
articles, academic writing, political discourse and business
negotiations. Find a text from ONE of these contexts e.g. a news
article, an academic article, a quote from a politician or
businessperson, USING the passive voice.
Xiaotangshan Hospital was built in seven days, allegedly breaking the world
record for the fastest construction of a hospital.
4. Give an example that you found and tell me WHY they used the
passive voice –
(a) because the action was more important than WHO did the action,
(b) to hide responsibility
(c) because the subject is unknown.
