2. Personal Introduction

My name is wilmar osorio ariza

I work in the oil and gas industry. I am a petroleum engineer and as you can presently I

am studying at the technology level the profession of international negotiation

3. Introducing the topic

My aim today is to prepare a presentation in English Lenguage, where I will explain

the steps to carry out a process of exportation, using the present simple and the present

 progressive. Similarly, I have to record a video supporting the task and practice the

 pronunciation in English

Consolidated Company

It is very important to consolidate the company to legitimize the export activity at

colombian goods.
 Register as exporter

Any company or individual that is going to export, must obtain a unique tax registry –

RUT-that enables it before the Dian

The exporter must register with the Foreign trade single window – vuce- (computer

system that integrates the process of authorizations, permits, certifications and good views

required by the colombian authorities for exports and imports)

The exporter must previously acquire his digital signature in Certicamara with this

signature, Mincit grants you a username and password to access the vuce

If you want to know about the potential of your product in the markets international, the

exporter must investigate market characteristics

Certificate of origin

Certificate of origin document required by the customs of the country of destination to

accredited tariff exemptions

Determination of tariff classification

The tariff classification is a merchandise classification system

 Request for good views

The fullfiment of this requirement has to do fundamentally with the protection of human

and animal health, as it certifies the safety and headthiness of the products for use or

consumption of humans and animals

Select the incoterms

Export documents:

 Commercial invoice

 Transport document (bill of lading, air waybill or letter of carriage)

 Packing list

 Approved (if appliable)

 Certificate of origin (if required)

Reimbursement of foreign currency

It is necessary to previously agree with your counterpart abroad on the means of

 payment to use, whether it`s direct spin, or letters of credit guarantees or stand by
