Adjetivo Comparativo Superlativo

Invitar a los estudiantes a leer y a investigar en internet todo lo

relacionado con los adjetivos y superlativos además realizar 5
oraciones con cada una de las formas tanto comparativas como
superlativas, para poder observar si el tema se entendió
suficientemente.

El comparativo
Como su nombre lo indica, usamos el comparativo en
inglés para comparar dos objetos o personas. Su
estructura es: Sujeto + verbo + adjetivo en grado
comparativo + than + otro objeto

 My house is larger than hers.
 This box is smaller than the one I lost.
 Your dog runs faster than Jim's dog.
  The rock flew higher than the roof.
 Today is colder than yesterday.

Traducción
• Mi casa es más grande que la de ella.
• Esta caja es más pequeña que la que perdí.
• Tu perro corre más rápido que el perro de Jim.
• La roca voló más alto que el techo.
• Hoy hace más frio que ayer
El superlativo
El superlativo en inglés se utiliza para resaltar una
característica de un objeto, persona o animal, que lo hace
diferente al resto del grupo en el que se encuentra. Su
estructura es: Sujeto + verbo + the + adjetivo en grado
superlativo + objeto

 She is the smartest person I know.
 Today is the coldest day I can remember.
 China is the biggest country I have visited.
 She is the youngest in her family.
 He is the oldest man I know.
Traducción
 Ella es la persona más inteligente que conozco
 Hoy es el día más frío que puedo recordar
 China es el país más grande que he visitado
 Ella es la más joven en su familia

ACTIVIDAD
Invitar a los estudiantes a leer y a investigar en
internet todo lo relacionado con el auxiliar does,
además los estudiantes deben convertir el siguiente
grupo de oraciones a preguntas en presente simple
empleando el auxiliar, para poder observar si el
tema se entendió suficientemente.

R/= Esta traducción no es literal, porque no se usan
auxiliares para formar preguntas en español de la misma
forma que en inglés.
En inglés, el do o el does indica que algo es pregunta en
presente simple, y luego volvemos a poner el verbo
“principal” en infinitivo.

ACTIVIDAD
Los estudiantes investigaran en internet todo lo
relacionado con will y going to para el futuro en el idioma
inglés. Seguimos leerán el texto holidays in thailand que
servirá como ejemplo para que ellos elaboren un texto
empleando el will o el going to.
R/= Will or going to se refieren a hechos futuros pero se
usan en contextos diferentes. Mientras que will se usa
para prometer cosas y hablar de decisiones
espontáneas, going to es más común para hablar de hacer
planes o intenciones.
(Después de leer las explicaciones dadas en la guía y de haber
investigado en internet deben realizar un pequeño texto escrito
en donde se note con claridad que se ha entendido la
explicación. los estudiantes del grado 8 realizaran el texto
empleando el going to y los estudiantes del grado 9 emplearan
para su texto will)

Today i start my holidays. I am going to the beach with
my family. I love swimming in the sea and diving. At night
we are going to have dinner in a restaurant in the
boardwalk. I like seafood very much but what i realy like
are the ice-cream after dinner. 
Then, i am going to London with my friends. We are going
to visit the city in three days. We are going to the theatre
to see a famous performance. The last week of august my
sister and i are going to the village to visit my
grandparents. We are going to the countryside to enjoy
the nature. We are going to cycling breathing fresh air. I
love summer. I have to enjoy these days because i am
going to start a new course in the high school
in September. In any case, I’m sure i am going to spend
great moments with my classmates.
