If Capt DK is the surveyor he will take attendance by calling everyone prior orals, so everyone try to be
there by 1000 Hrs,

He will explain what all the major topics going to question in orals and he said certificate, survey,
MARPOL, emergency handling are the important ones, also he asked individuals what was the type of
ship and cargo carried. (My observation is that to declare yourself that which cargo you are more
conversant and confident )

While calling for Orals he will call 2 persons (1 person will be questioned and the other will be sitting
back watching, and may be given with paper to write given topics )

Self was 8 th candidate for that day, While I am entering Capt DK was busy with Taking Orals for my
batch mate, I got one rough paper and told to write

1)steel coils loading to discharge from Mexico to Japan cross Pacific preparation as Master in Time
charterer voyage ,
