Prayer our first response

o 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 NLT

He is a loving father
o Describes a state of love, intimacy, confidence, and trust between a father and his child.

May your Name Be kept holy:

o Holy – means to be set apart from others.
o Receiving Sequence:
o Blessing
o Expectation
o Entitlement
o May we never reach the place with God that we feel entitled to His blessings.

1. Live a life centered in Prayer

2. The goal is not about quality of prayer it is about relationship,

simply spending time with god

3. For God’s will to be done, i have to obey his instructions

4. TO obey god’s instruction, I must hear his voice

5. to hear God’s voice, you have to listen

6. To listen to God, you have to spend time with him

7. When you pray for his kingdom to come and his will to be done
in your life, God will show you his will

8. For his will to be accomplished, I must be willing to abandon my

will

9. Question: do you want to know God’s will?

We are so glad that you are here as part of The Assembly family. Our passion is that The Assembly will be a place to
belong, before you believe. The following guide will help you continue to grow not only in your relationship with God, but
also with your Assembly family.

Fill out a connection card: Doing this each week helps us to stay connected as a church family. Be sure to check out “My
Next Step” on the back of your connection card! There is always a way to connect your faith with action and start
growing.

START: This class is where it all begins. Meet Pastor Jim and learn about how you can begin your journey here at The
Assembly! This class will help you find your place in our church family. It is a 4-week class that starts at 9:30 AM on Sunday
mornings in the right upstairs room in the Foyer.

Sunday Moring Worship: An inspirational message for the week ahead.

PLACE: Want to find your God-given purpose? Through the PLACE process, people discover that God has created and
gifted them with a unique capacity to serve others. PLACE runs quarterly on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM.

G2 Groups (Growth Groups): Discipleship is important! On Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM and Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM,
we have G2 Groups available for every age. Grow deeper in your walk with Christ as you make friendships that will last a
lifetime.

Realkids/Realife: These are our student ministries, designed to help kids grow in their faith! They meet on Sundays and
Wednesdays. Check out the inside of the bulletin for details and times!

Servant Ministries: Connected through PLACE Ministries, we offer many areas where each of our church family has the
opportunity to use the gifts God has given them to minister to others. Check out available ministries under the “I would
like to serve” section of your connection card.

Membership: Want to commit on a deeper level? We offer membership here at The Assembly to utilize your gifts to minister
to the church and the people of our community. Make this church “MY” church. Watch for our next membership class to
sign up.
