CERTIFICATE OF CALIBRATION
Issued by: G.T. Certification Limited
ADDRESS
ORDER NO.
DESCRIPTION
METHOD The above force measuring instrument was calibrated by the static mechanical
actuation of the instrument via deadweight. The device indicated the actual force
being applied. The uncertainty of the applied force was 0.1% or better.
A hanger was fitted to the device and was loaded to 100% of its maximum rated
capacity prior to the calibration. Following a further two preloads to maximum
force capacity, three measurement series were made.
Measurements were made at the major incremental points throughout the scale.
All measurements are stated overleaf.
This certificate is issued in accordance with the laboratory accreditation requirements of the United Kingdom Accreditation Service. It provides
traceability of measurement to the SI system of units and/or to units of measurement realised at the National Physical Laboratory or other recognised
national metrology institutes. This certificate may not be reproduced other than in full, except with the prior written approval of the issuing laboratory.

Traceability
Calibration based on mass standards traceable to national standards. These standards have been
calibrated in accordance with G.T. Certification requirements to maintain accurate and traceable
equipment for the purposes described overleaf.
Uncertainty of Measurement
The reported expanded uncertainty is based on a standard uncertainty multiplied by a coverage factor
(k) chosen to provide a level of confidence of approximately 95%. The value of k, and the
corresponding degrees of freedom, are reported in the table of results. The uncertainty evaluation has
been carried out in accordance with UKAS requirements.
