4.1. Description of first aid measures


Inhalation
If oil mist is inhaled - Fresh air and rest. Contact a doctor.
Skin
Wipe with paper or cloth. Wash with soap and water. With continued irritation of the skin, seek medical
attention.
Splash in the eyes
Rinse with water.
Ingestion
Drink milk or water to dilute the product. Do NOT induce vomiting. Seek medical attention if symptoms
remain.

Inhalation
Inhalation of oil mist in high levels or of vapors formed when heating the product may give
irritation with burning in nose and throat.

Skin
Repeated or prolonged skin contact can cause mild irritation, dehydration and may cause the development of
non-allergic eczema.
Splash in the eyes
Splashes in the eyes cause burning.
Ingestion
May cause irritation of throat and mucous membranes.

4.3 Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
As a rule, if there is any doubt or inconvenience, you should always consult a doctor. Never give one
unconscious person something to eat or drink.

5. Firefighting measures

5.1. Extinguishing
Extinguish with powder, carbon dioxide or foam. Do not use water as a fire extinguisher.
Containers near fire should be moved or cooled with water.

5.2. Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture


Health hazardous smoke consisting of carbon oxides is formed in case of fire. Contact with fire may cause rupture / explosion of
bottle.

5.3. Advice for firefighters


Use smoke dive equipment (fire suit, compressed air apparatus) when extinguishing fire to protect against
smoke / gases.

6. Accidental release measures

6.1. Personal protective measures, protective equipment and emergency procedures


Note the risk of ignition and explosion! Wear chemical resistant gloves. See also “personal
protective equipment” in section 8.

6.2. Environmental precautions


Prevent discharge into drains of larger amount. In case of major leak, contact the emergency services. At larger volymes in water
notify waterworks or wastewater treatment plants. In the event of leakage that entails a risk of environmental damage, contact
responsible within the municipality.

6.3. Methods and materials for containment and decontamination


Smaller spills are wiped with a damp cloth. Larger spills are collected with sand, soil and collected.
Collected material is handled in accordance with section 13.

7.1. Precautions for safe handling


Avoid contact with the skin. Avoid inhalation of fog and vapors formed during heating. Container
kept closed as far as possible. Make sure the air exchange is good in the warehouse and in the workplace. Wash your hands

7.3. Specific end use


The product is used as lubricating oil. Prolonged skin contact with the product, especially after it has
used for a period of time should be avoided due to the risk of skin damage (see section 11). About mist formation not
can be avoided, use personal protective equipment, see section 8.
