U9000 ULTRAFILTER

Designed to produce ultrapure dialysis fluid*

* Intended to be used in conjunction with a water treatment system

U9000 ULTRAFILTER

INDICATIONS PERFORMANCES
The U9000 ultrafilter is indicated for purification of incoming water for dialysis Typical pressure drop
fluid as well as purification of dialysis fluid to obtain microbiological high quality
QF = 500 ml/min – dialysis fluid
dialysis fluid. The risk of exposure to bacteria and endotoxins can thereby
at temperature = 37°C < 100 mmHg
be minimized.
The U9000 ultrafilter is intended to be used in conjunction with a water
Lifetime
treatment system.
On the AK98 V2, V3 and Artis dialysis system:
The U9000 ultrafilter shall be changed after 3 months of usage or 150 disinfection
cycles, whichever comes first
MATERIALS
On the AK 96 and AK 98 V1 dialysis system:
Membrane PAES/PVP The U9000 ultrafilter shall be changed after 2 months of usage or 100 disinfection
Potting material Polyurethane (PUR) cycles, whichever comes first
Housing and caps Polycarbonate (PC) Maximum 12 disinfections with sodium hypochlorite over the lifetime of the U9000
