1. Add the pre-defined CONFIDENTIAL 1 watermark to the document.

2. Insert a Continuous section break immediately after “the right solution” at the bottom of
page 1.
3. Add a page number to the bottom of all pages in the Bold Numbers 2 format.
4. Change the color of the title, FUSION TOMO BUSINESS PLAN, to Lavender, Accent 6.
5. Under the “OBJECTIVES” section, change the list into a numbered list.
6. Insert a hyperlink to www.fusiontomo.com on the text Fusion Tomo Incorporated in the
first paragraph of this document.
7. Insert an Austin Header that will not be displayed on the first page and enter Fusion
Tomo Inc. as the document title.

1. On the top of page 1, create a table from the text “Country … 4,237,730”. Create the
table with 2 columns. (Accept all other defaults)
2. For the table, add alternative text with the title, “Apples”, and the description should be
“Production by Different Countries”.
3. Insert the picture “oranges.jpg” after the second paragraph on page two and apply the
Artisitc Effect Pencil Grayscale.

4. Highlight the first line under “Oranges” in the second page in Turquise.

Project 3 of 7 (Company Description)

1. Inspect the document and remove all footers.


2. Add the text, “Company Description”, to the Subject property of the document.

3. Display the spaces formatting symbols in the document. Do not display any other
formatting symbols.
4. Configure Autocorrect to replace “COMPANY” with “Fusion Tomo”.
5. Configure Word to not print in the background.

Project 4 of 7 (The Hiring Process)

1. Insert the contents of the file “Contacts.accdb” above the section titled “Objectives”

2. Format the title, “THE HIRING PROCESS”, as a Gradient Fill – Purple, Accent 4,
Outline – Accent 4 WordArt.

3. Adjust the page margins so that they are moderate.

4. Below the first paragraph starting with the text “Hiring forms” and ending with the text
“carried out”, format all of the bulleted list to 2 columns with a width 3.0” and a line
separating the columns.

5. Create a bookmark named, “Hiring Process Objectives”, for the “Objectives” heading.

Project 5 of 7 (The Ocean)


1. Move the second paragraph, “An ocean … smaller seas”, so that it becomes the first
paragraph.
2. Remove the table functionality from the table containing the text “Pacific Ocean …
Eurasia”.
3. Add a Facet cover page. Delete the “[Document subtitle]” placeholder.
4. Apply the Art Deco Bevel picture effect to the image on the first page.
5. Move the image under “Climate Effects” to just below the paragraph ending with
“concentrations”.

1. Modify the citation by Service, USDA Forest so the year is 2010.

2. Change the style of all the subtitles in the document to Heading 2.
3. Add an Automatic Table 1 table of contents at the beginning of the document.
4. Simultaneously replace all occurences of the text “style” with “technique”.

5. Add 12pt spacing before the subtitle of the first paragraph “Why even use a Style
Guide?”.

Project 7 of 7 (NetPlusSG)

1. On the first page, below the heading “Scope”, modify the list to apply a custom bullet
created from the “checkmark.jpg” image.
2. At the bottom of the last page, add a Vertical Box List SmartArt that shows the three
types of cables “Coaxial Cable”, “Twisted Pair”, and “Optic Cables”.
3. Apply a Box page border to the whole document with a width of 3pt and color Purple.
4. Apply the Shaded style set to the document.
