Fold flower block in half, with WRONG sides together, having

40. To gather flowers, stitch along gathering lines, using a long
40 machine-stitch.
On large flowers, stitch along stitching lines.
Cut out flowers along solid lines.
For View C, E, you will have one extra small flower. You can
discard it or use it as desired.

41. Pull up gathering stitches and secure thread ends, forming a
“bubble” in center of flower.
On OUTSIDE, arrange flowers on bodice front as shown on
front of envelope with “bubble” facing up or down.
Tack flowers in place.

26. DERECHO CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres el volante en el frente y la
parte trasera, casando las costuras de los hombros y los bordes no terminados.
Tire de los hilos de frunce para ajustar. Hilvane.
VOLANTE E, F
27. DERECHO CON DERECHO, cosa juntas las partes laterales delantera y trasera
del corpiño por la costura del hombro.
28. PARA EL MODELO E- Cosa juntos los volantes delantero y trasero por la
costura del hombro.
Para hacer el dobladillo angosto en el borde exterior del volante, planche un
doblez de 1/4" (6mm) en el borde inferior. Cosa cerca del borde planchado.
Recorte a ras de la costura y cosa un otro doblez de 1/8" (3mm).
Cosa a máquina a 1/2" (1.3cm) del borde con muescas del volante.
29. Haga cortes hasta el pespunte en el margen de la costura del volante, a lo largo
de las curvas.
En el EXTERIOR, prenda con alfileres el REVÉS del volante en el DERECHO de
la parte lateral delantera y la espalda, casando las costuras de los hombros y los
puntos pequeños. Hilvane.
30. PARA EL MODELO F- Cosa juntos los volantes delantero y trasero por la
costura del hombro.
Planche el dobladillo en el borde exterior del volante. Para formar el dobladillo
angosto vuelva el borde no terminado hacia dentro, colocándolo en el doblez.

31. En el EXTERIOR, prenda con alfileres el REVÉS del volante en el DERECHO de
las partes laterales delantera y trasera del corpiño, casando las costuras de los
hombros y los puntos pequeños. Hilvane. Hilvane los bordes no terminados.
COSTURAS MODELOS D, E, F
32. Cosa juntas las partes laterales delantera y trasera por la costura del lado, desde
el borde inferior hasta el punto pequeño. Retroceda el pespunte en el punto
pequeño para reforzar la costura.
33. Planche el dobladillo en el borde de la sisa. Para formar el dobladillo angosto
vuelva el borde no terminado hacia dentro, colocándolo en el doblez. Planche.
Cosa el dobladillo girando en ángulo recto en la abertura.
34. DERECHO CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres la parte lateral delantera y la
parte trasera en la prenda, casando las costuras de los hombros. Cosa costura y
plánchela hacia el centro.
CONTINÚE COMO SIGUE PARA TODOS LOS MODELOS
35. Cosa juntos el frente y la parte trasera por las costuras de los lados.
36. DERECHO CON DERECHO, cosa la falda en el corpiño por la costura de la
cintura casando los centros y las costuras de los lados. Para formar la jareta de
la cintura, cosa el margen de la costura del corpiño y la falda a 1/4" (6mm) del
borde no terminado, dejando una abertura para insertar el elástico.
Corte un pedazo de elástico a la medida de la guía para el elástico de la cintura.
Inserte el elástico en la abertura de la jareta.
37. Cosa juntos los extremos del elástico firmemente. Cierra la abertura cosiéndola.
Distribuya uniformemente la amplitud.
CONSEJO -Para sujetar el elástico de tal manera que no se enrolle con el uso,
cosa a través de todos los espesores de la jareta, en el surco de las costuras.
Si Ud. lo prefiera, cosa los bordes no terminados juntos con puntadas de zig-
zag.
38. Planche el dobladillo. Para hacer el ACABADO del borde, cosa un doblez de 1/4"
(6mm) o cosa con puntadas de zig-zag, O de overlock/sobrehilado. Cosa el
dobladillo con puntadas falsas.
FLORES C, D, E
39. PARA LOS MODELO C, E- Haga siete pequeñas flores y cuatro flores grandes.
PARA EL MODELO D- Haga dos pequeñas flores y una flor grande.
Haga todas las flores como sigue:
Transfiera las marcas en el DERECHO de una sección de la flor, usando un
marcador de tinta lavable o un lápiz.
Doble la pieza para las flores por la mitad y por su largo, REVÉS CON REVÉS,
con los bordes no terminados parejos, como se muestra.
40. PARA fruncir las flores, cosa con puntadas largas a lo largo de la línea de frunce.
En las flores grandes, cosa a lo largo de las líneas de pespunte. Corte las flores
a lo largo de la líneas continuas.
Para los Modelos C, E, Ud. tiene una flor adicional. Ud. puede tirarla o usarla
según su gusto.
41. Tire de los hilos de frunce para ajustar y anude los hilos formando una “burbuja”
en el centro de la flor.
En el EXTERIOR, coloque las flores en el frente del corpiño, como se muestra
en el sobre del patrón, con la burbuja hacia arriba o abajo.
